Raven narrowed his eyes, his gaze so cold the room seemed to drop several degrees. “Fools,” he muttered, voice heavy with restrained fury. “Even now, you can’t see the truth? Ivyshade is a pack of wolves who survived in the Deadly Forest. They’ve studied herbs and toxins to survive. They don’t use magic, and there’s no such thing as the ‘curses’ you fear. What you call darkness is merely your own ignorance in the face of the unknown.” An elder shifted, seemingly about to speak, but Raven silenced him with a raised hand.

We hear Raven clucking her tongue, telling me how stupid I was not to let her in. The room is so still, the silence suffocating as the vision unfolds. Then, when Raven shifts into her wendigo form, her limbs crack, elongating unnaturally, there's audible gasps and whispers filling the room. The image swirls, pulling the pack deeper into the vision. They see the dark and twisted side of Raven as she stands in the night. Her yellow eyes flash with an unnatural hunger, a coldness that doesn’t belong to her. A monster fully embracing the darkness.

I ask while kneeling down in front of her feeling how uneasy she feels hearing her parents yelling for her. I can’t help blushing a little when I stare into her obsidian eyes noticing her looking me over trying to understand what she is feeling. “I don’t know,” she whimpers at Rebecca screaming for her so I nod and scoop her up into my arms. “It’s ok come on,” I reassure while carrying her towards the barn door to find her identical twin opening the door. They are very much the same except, their hair, eyes, and abilities. Raven’s hair and eyes are pitch black and her aura was that of an extraordinarily powerful Lycan Alpha.

I could tell he was smirking. The bastard just shot someone and he was smiling?!! He made to pull at me again I screamed loudly, the tiger in me was awakened. I clawed furiously at the robbers hands and wrist. I heard a silent cuss of pain. "Leave me alone! Somebody help me!" Then I felt something cold and heavy descend on my head forcefully. Blackness floated in my vision, blurring out everything and every noise. ___CALEB'S POV___ I dragged out the girl from the car and lifted her to my shoulders. she was limp and quiet heavy. I gave the chauffeur a cursory glance, he was still breathing. He'd be lucky if medical helps reaches to him in the next fifteen minutes. But if not-

He has this unfocused look in his eyes. "This is not easy Raven Prince. Your sanity will be threatened. If you fail to control the darkness that is going to be left behind by the souls, you would forever turn dark. If that happens, you will be stuck in this forest forever. This dark forest will flourish with only darkness. If it detects darkness in anyone, it will suck them in. Darkness in a person would be his anger, resentment, his dark thoughts, and his rage. All these souls are angry with Irina. They always wanted to kill her for she did. No matter what happens, they can never forgive her. That's why they couldn't leave. Irina used their emotions against themselves and trapped them here.

Good. I turned to the scouts. “We split into two teams. One closes in, the other clears every path between here and those caverns. No more hiding spots.” Killian grabbed my shoulder, meeting my gaze. “She’s more dangerous now, son.
