Raven The sun was blinding as I cracked my eyes open, but was quickly blotted out by a tall form stepping into view. I squinted, shielding my eyes with my arm as I looked up at him. “Oh, thank goodness,” I began. “I-I think my helicopter crashed—” “I can see that.” The tall form’s voice was gruff, deep. He crouched, and the first thing I saw was an all-too-familiar symbol tattooed on his chest. Three claw marks across a wolf’s eye.

Raven had already accepted that she is going to die here while Celia who doesn’t need saving has two men ready to save her. The flames chose you for a reason.” The child like voice appeared again. It screamed in her ears, “RAVEN”.. RAVEN… She has heard that before…but where? The name sent a shiver through Charlotte, as if it resonated with a part of her she hadn’t known existed.

"What have you done to him!" Raven growled in fury as he dashed forward. Iron was taken aback when Raven made his appearance. Obviously, he wasn't expecting Raven to still be alive. But he quickly adjusted himself as he rose his hands: "I have brought all the 13 packs around here to get rid of poisonous cancer that is the doom of our society. These rogues can by no means exist any longer!" Raven glared at Iron in anger, the flames that rose inside him was burning so bad that his whole body was shaking. It was then for the first time did Raven understand what Knight meant by "it hurts to see your mate get hurt".

Leah felt her breath hitch at the familiar blue eyes. His eyes were deep and dark like the abyss she had sunk into, brimming with innate arrogance and elegance. Leah felt a sense of crisis the moment they turned sharp. She grabbed the blanket, ready to sprint off, when he suddenly grabbed her arm and climbed over her. He growled, “You spiked my drink with wolfsbane!”

Raven said. “Remind me why I need you again?” I asked jokingly. Raven crossed her arms and smirked. “But isn’t that too much? That is like letting my enemy into my territory? What if he plans with Marcus to attack?” I asked her. Raven waved me off almost immediately. “Trust me, he is also neutral to all of this. He just genuinely cares about my daughter and me and wants to ensure that we are safe,” She explained. I took a deep breath, rubbing my palms together.
