Chrome and Claws
She; astride her bike, leather jacket catching the wind, laughing mid-drink at the bar, glaring in defiance during a Circle meeting, asleep on a bench after a long ride, unaware of the lens capturing her vulnerability.
Interspersed among them were relics; tokens pulled from her orbit.
A glove with the fingers torn out, broken chain from her first ride, scarf, still faintly smelling of her and a piece of metal she’d bent during a fight.
All displayed with reverence, obsession.
And at the center of it all, like a shrine, hung the largest photograph of her.
Raven Blackthorne.
Eyes sharp as lightning, mouth caught in a half-snarl, half-smile.
