Everyone had their eyes covered in a reflex. Raven was on the ground, thrown away. Maddie was kneeling on one knee, bent over. Her hand held the staff, the red hair was on fire, and her eyes were bright green. On the ground in front of her was the crystal that had come from Raven. The black crystal was pyramid-shaped and sparkled attractively. It beckoned those who had magic to come to it and feed it. The coven wanted to get closer, as did Esmee and Rodolf, attracted by its power.

Like she has it all wrong and she means something else to him. He kept something on the table in front of him and the motion of his hands broke her out of whatever trance she was in. Her mouth opened slightly at the books he just placed on the table. They didn’t look like the ones she had read though. “Charlotte, these are the records from the King’s castle that contain information about rouges. The King’s Council keeps a record of all werewolves that turned rouges or left the pack. These are records of the identified rouges and lone wolves. I want you to go through these whenever you can.” Azraiel explained.

Ryder quickly shifts and begins to howl making every one of age, and those who aren’t with child, shift and howl in response. I can’t help standing, holding my belly, watching my beautiful mate as a large black wolf with a white patch on his chest and just below his jaw, howling before me.

It seemed they didn’t care too much about the gruesome battle raging outside; their eyes were on the invisible barrier surrounding the house. As the witches walked along the edge, creating a semicircle around the barrier, another figure stepped out from the growing fog outside the tree line. The tall Raven had straight black hair that ran almost the entire length of her back. She was thin and had strange black markings all over her pale skin, which seemed to whirl on her skin as she began muttering something. A black film emerged as she chanted, swirling around her body in pulses.

He stroked his hand at the side of the frame when it moved slightly, and another piece of paper fell. "Peter Weasley- July 24, 2021." Another name, the same month and day but a different year. Hyde didn't waste any more time and lifted the mirror. And that's when he saw something. "What in the world was she up to?" He murmured as he kept his eyes focused on the photos and notes connected by pieces of yarn as if the victim was investigating something. He moved further from the table and captured everything with his phone including the pieces of paper on the vanity.

His hazel eyes, sharp and calculating, studied the image before him as if searching for someone else entirely. He leaned closer, tilting his head, scrutinizing every feature with a quiet amusement. “At least they got the nose right,” he muttered, the corner of his mouth twitching upward. The reflection, though familiar, wasn’t a perfect match to the photograph hanging beside the mirror. In the picture, a weary woman stood flanked by two boys: one wide-eyed and uncertain, unmistakably Raven, and the other older, with sharper features and an air of unshaken confidence; Cullen.

20 Years Later Raven University — Alexander’s POV The Blackwood crest loomed over the wrought-iron gates of Raven University like a sentinel carved from nightmares and myths—a massive silver wolf etched into obsidian stone, its eyes twin chips of moonstone that seemed to pierce the dawn fog, judging every soul that dared approach. Most students passed beneath it with wide-eyed awe, whispering prayers to whatever deity they favored, their footsteps quickening as if the wolf might lunge from the stone at any moment. Me? I strode under it every morning with a cocktail of irritation and reluctant pride churning in my gut.
