He shifted his weight, pulling his front foot back slightly, raising his guard, his stance suddenly becoming lighter, more coiled and kinetic.
"Taekwondo," he continued, demonstrating a fluid, rapid transition of footwork that allowed him to pivot on a dime. "The way of the foot and fist. It teaches us velocity, spacing, and the continuous flow of kinetic momentum. It teaches us how to redirect an opponent's mass against them."
