Like I don't have a care in the world right now. *paper sound* What is that sound anyway? I sleepily open my eyes once more to see the book once more but this time there was a picture. Page 28? When did I even start reading this book? I should just get up, use my speed magic to read it finish and go back to sleep... Why am I even reading a book like this? I sleepily wondered, I then felt a gentle, tender pat on my head, the tender feeling of fingers going through my hair once again lulls me back to sleep.

*** I was coming from the upper side walking towards a bridge with a baby crying loudly, I was trying to move closer to save the baby but a deafening sound was resounding into the dark of the night, terrifyingly approaching the bridge. I moved a step, and the feminine figure also moved a step. While I was a few meters away from the baby, just like flash, she arrived some distance away from me and before I could say or do anything her lips start moving up and down, and the dryness of the baby pierced through the air. It was as if someone was lifting the baby because she was halfway in the air. The baby was descending in a fast process, before I could part open my mouth to say, "stop!"

When I look up again, I see my bookshelf. I stand up and walk over to it, glancing at the books I still need to read. I remember the nursery rhyme used as a way to choose something, so I do the same. “Ambarabà ciccì cocco, how much bad luck I have!” I begin, moving my finger between the books. Then I stop and reflect on the words I just said. “I’m pretty sure that’s not how the rhyme starts…” I mumble. I close my eyes and touch the books randomly until I stop my hand. I open my eyes and look at the book I’ll read: Lontano da te by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

he said to me. “Ahead sir? I thought I was lagging?” I asked confused. He chuckled and said to me “Yes Andy, you are ahead, but listen and correct me if I’m wrong will you?” he said to me. “Yes sir.” I replied with a smile. I opened the book in front of me and put the pods into my ears while I looked for the song that the girl had requested. I found it instantly and pressed play. George was right, it was definitely a painfully slow song, but I liked it, I put the song on repeat and started to learn the words.
