Moonbound

Moonbound

“You don’t have to figure it all out tonight, Leora. Bonds are messy. They take time. But you’re not alone in this, okay? And you don’t have to let it define you.” She nodded slowly, her gaze dropping to the ground. His words were comforting, but they couldn’t erase the weight of her uncertainty. The walk back to her cabin was slow. The forest seemed quieter now, the trees swaying gently under the light breeze. The pack’s campfire was still burning in the distance, casting flickering shadows across the clearing. She could hear faint laughter from the others, their voices a reminder of the unity she felt so detached from.

Her Boon, Her Bane

Her Boon, Her Bane

Even James stood statuesquely still, eyes wide. “No. Fucking. Way.” Colin said after long moments of silence. He straightened and he and James dumped their rods then together, made their way towards the bar, finally seeing how serious their friend's situation was. They sat, flanking his brooding frame as they each ordered their own drinks before settling into a comfortable yet slightly tense silence while nursing their drinks. Occasionally, Colin and James exchanged glances over their friend's hunched figure, shooting each other questioning looks before Gabriel finally groaned loudly, aware of their shenanigans.

Shifter King

Shifter King

But why? Hellhounds have been more numerous the closer we get to Boyce, Va., our rendezvous point. We should arrive tomorrow and the other groups should follow within a few days. Boyce is seventy-one miles from the capitol and from earlier reconnaissance reports, deserted. There's a major abandoned railroad there that will provide metal sleeping quarters with safety from hellhounds. The rations we brought and what we've found along the way will keep us for months if needed. Mate, Beast whispers inside me.

He even liked it that she lived above the saloon, since it meant a game was handy if he felt like playing. Since the Hat Creek outfit had been gathering cattle and getting ready for their drive, games were handier than they had been for a while. Several cowboys drifted into Lonesome Dove, looking for work; some of them had enough snap left at night to wander in and cut the cards. A tall cowboy named Needle Nelson showed up from north of San Antonio, and a cheerful cowboy from Brownsville named Bert Borum. At first Xavier was cheered by all the new customers, until it occurred to him that they would only be there for a week or

Falling For My Husband

Falling For My Husband

“I’m here, Zia.” When I was sure that she’s deep in her slumber, I walked out of the room, finding Bo on the captain’s deck. “X,” Bo greeted me without passing a glance, eyes laser-focused on the waters as he inhaled a cig. He tossed over a pack, handing me his stick so I could light the one I pulled out. I set the pack above the helm, drawing a slow drag of my cigarette. “Got anything?”

Breaking the Bond

Breaking the Bond

"By the way, Ryan said if your pup is ever born, it'll just steal the fatherly love meant for mine. So, you should really think about that." "After all, he doesn't even know you're pregnant, does he? But he's guarding my pup every single day." I stared at the words on the screen and suddenly started to laugh. So, that was their plan. I touched my stomach, thinking of the doctor's words—the pup is still there—and a wave of determination washed over me. I will protect this pup myself. I forced myself up and wrote out a formal declaration to dissolve the mate bond. I left the papers on the coffee table in the Pack House, right next to my wedding ring.

A DEN IN THE WOODS

A DEN IN THE WOODS

ZACHARY I woke up tired with a resounding headache,I remembered coming back from the campfire and heading straight to my favorite liquor canter and shugging down as many shots as possible.i felt devastated about the whole mate issue, why hadn't I found her yet and why was the creator setting me up with such games. I stood up, showered and ate. I was about entering my jeep when I heard my name,I turned and saw Upel, one of the elder beckoning to me. I respectfully went to him and nodded silently at him.

Bound to the Beast

Bound to the Beast

Hope surged through me as a truck pulled up beside the road. I sprinted down the desolate highway, my breath hitching in fear. The moon’s feeble glow offered scant refuge from my relentless pursuers, Tristan and Tessa. Desperation etched across my face, I thrust out my trembling hand, flagging down an approaching truck. “Please, stop!” I gasped, my voice laced with terror. The truck rumbled to a halt, its brakes shrieking like an anguished cry in the still night. The driver, a grizzled man with wary eyes, peered down at me through the open window.

BLOOD BOUND

"I do. Because it has been agonizing to conceal my link with Rowan Blackwood. Because I'm sick of being afraid all the time. Because I'm not interested in constant fighting. "Margot was quiet for a long time, studying the documents. Then she said, "Show me. Show me Rowan, show me this bond you're willing to betray everything for." Vivienne pressed her comm. "Rowan. She wants to see you." Sera sensed Vivienne's anxiety as Rowan walked into the warehouse thanks to the bond. Margot's gaze was unreadable as she watched him approach. "You're bonded," Margot remarked.
