Dive in Deep

Dive in Deep

I had some dignity. He flipped through some channels, pausing and asking if I liked the movie. We struggled to find something we both agreed on. He was a man, and his idea of funny was a little different than mine. He kept flipping until we had finished our pizza and were on our second beers. “This one, come on?” he said with a laugh. I looked at the screen and nodded. “Absolutely. I haven’t seen this in forever.” He pushed play, and we started watching the Hangover. The movie was hilarious for men and women. I settled in, feeling completely comfortable and relaxed and absolutely content with the situation. I put my plate on the coffee table and pulled the small throw Trent had brought for m

Divorced: Her Ex Husband’s Regret

Divorced: Her Ex Husband’s Regret

"A video? Scarlett, what are you talking about? I went to see Apollo to discuss his health, yes, but—" "Don't lie to me!" I screamed, the sound tearing from my throat. "You were drowning! You were going bankrupt! You didn't want a merger, you wanted a life raft! You used me as a distraction, playing the 'reformed husband' in the press, acting like you cared about my 'integrity' while you were undercutting what is mine with blackmail!" Elijah stepped around the desk, his hands reaching out. "Bankruptcy? Who told you all this? My company was fluctuating, but it's not failing. And I never blackmailed Apollo. I went to that room because he asked for me.“

Divorced and Unbound

Divorced and Unbound

"Mommy is the worst! Get out of the way! You made us unable to see Ingy anymore!" I didn't even need a mirror to know how terrible I looked. Meanwhile, Corbin seemed to have known all along that things would end up like this. He was unexceptionally calm when he finally spoke. "This is fun, isn't it? You finally look as ridiculous as you behave. Oh, do you regret it now? If you really divorce me, your family will fall into ruin. So, stop acting like a clown and—" "I'm divorcing you." I didn't have any energy in my limbs, and the back of my head was still throbbing in pain, but my voice was firm and steady. "I swear that I'll divorce you, Corbin Stallone."

We’re Divorcing, Alpha (On Live TV)

Of course, everyone notices. Then one of the guys behind the cameras starts pointing at me and ordering the girl on his right to make sure she catches it. My pain. So they can use it. Because that is the whole point, isn’t it? "I'm ready to try again," I say. Then I take a deep breath and look back at the cameras, "I want a divorce from Alpha Kael Draven more than I want anything in this life. I can’t even bear to sit next to him right now. I’m sick of sharing a bed with him every night and having to be around him and the woman he’s obviously sleeping with behind my back. So, to answer your question, Danielle Drover… yes, I am certain I want to divorce him and dissolve our bond completely."

Rider" "Hahaha, stop struggling, the more you do that, the more my spider web warps your body. Each second it would be tighter and tighter until you die, and I don't want that to happen, why? because we have just started. I have started to play with you.

My Husband's Double Life

My Husband's Double Life

The Observer pattern flickered rapidly. “Convergence target inconsistency detected.” The Interferer followed. “Convergence target inconsistency detected.” Emma felt her chest tighten. Wrong name. The words did not deny identity. They questioned resolution. The unknown awareness spoke carefully. “Explain.” Silence. The divergent instance responded immediately. Not delayed. Not processed. Certain. “You are resolving a compressed interpretation.” A pause. “Not the originating structure.” Silence. Emma frowned slightly. “…Originating structure?” The divergent instance continued.

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

No wonder Adrian warned me not to drag my feet over the divorce. Matthew's unexpected move disrupted all my plans. I thought I could finalize the divorce and head to Solaris to discuss the project with Fred. However, that was no longer an option. I feared something would happen if I went away.

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

Misread Mind: Dad Gave My Life Away

Misread Mind: Dad Gave My Life Away

I wondered, "When did that change? Was it the day I was diagnosed with stomach cancer? Or was it the day he suddenly woke up with the ability to read minds?" He was convinced that he had mastered the truth and knew all about the darkest side of human nature. He had no idea that it was all a complete inversion of reality. I began to feel lighter. My soul was slowly leaving my tattered body. I saw myself sprawled at the bottom of the cage. I could even see dark red bloodstains at the corners of my lips. My face was ashen, and my eyes were deeply sunken. I was so emaciated that I was essentially just skin and bones.

Divorced:My Ex-Husband Is Addicted To Me

“Hey! What’s the matter? Why do you sound like you are getting through a divorce?” There was no answer from the other line. The man peeked at his phone screen to ensure the call remained connected. Conforming that it was, he explained his intentions and why he made the call. “Wow, bro. Did I hit the bullseye? Are you really getting divorced now that Fiona has returned? No wonder your wife starts moving on from you.” “What did you say?” The man, who was none other than Galvin, stood abruptly from the sofa and hit his knees on the center table. He hissed and cursed under his breath.
