"Where are you staying now? You don't even have enough for a taxi, right? Need a lift?"
Matthew sighed, telling Shirley to quit pretending to care.
"I don't care if she walks or crawls back," he grumbled.
Just then, a white Porsche SUV pulled up smoothly behind Matthew's car.
Edwin stepped out and kindly opened the passenger door for me. He gave me a warm smile and asked if I had gotten the divorce papers sorted out. "All set? Hop in. I've got some organic honey and herbs, and my aunt's making some nice herbal tea back home," he said.
