I took a quick glance at her before focusing back on the road. "Babe?" I called, and she seemed startled. "You weren't listening to anything I was saying." She fidgeted with the tip of her shirt before turning to look at me. "This Saturday?" I looked at her from the corners of my eyes. "Yes." There was silence for a few seconds before she finally spoke. "I have a study session at the library this Saturday."

He left, and the faint echo of his laugh and the sway of his bag lingered. Jenna sighed, clearly amused. “You’re so doomed.” “What are you talking about?” I asked, scowling. “Don’t play dumb. I saw that look.” “There was no look.” “Sure,” she said, slinging her bag over her shoulder. “And I totally didn’t just witness the start of a slow-burn romance.” “Goodbye, Jenna,” I muttered. She laughed as she walked out. “See you tomorrow, Professor Bookie.”

Jeno pointed his shoulder, "Well, everyone who knows me how to know I like to read books, is it a bad thing to read a book?" asked Jeno, he was tired of hearing the words of people who asked, "You've read a book huh?" What's wrong if he likes to read books, jeno means, can not have to raise the issue of gemerannya, they can talk about other things from him besides like to read books. "That's not how Jeno, likes to read books is something to be proud of, because not everyone likes to read books like you, in fact most of them claim to be allergic to books." explained Rachel does not want Jeno to misunderstand their speech.

"I want to hear it from you. You’re going to be the star of the show, dearie. We don’t read the stories from the eyes of the side characters." Her words caused Amelia’s smile to grow a little more genuine. The warmth of Matteo’s hand on the small of her back boosted her confidence greatly as well, and confidence blossomed in Amelia’s chest.

Mysteries. Instead, the first page contains a lengthy complaint about blisters. I blink. Then read it again. A reluctant smile tugs at the corner of my mouth. The next page isn't much different. Apparently, Jenna hated carrying supplies. The one after that contains an entire paragraph insulting the weather. The one after that complains about sleeping on rocks. By the fourth entry, I find myself snorting quietly. The sound feels strange in the silence. Almost foreign. Still, I keep reading. The further I go, the more real Jenna becomes.

Jenna watches her go, makes a note on the small pad she is carrying, and then looks up. And sees me. I am good at reading faces. It is one of the skills I am most proud of, the ability to read the micro-expressions that people cannot control — the flinch, the flare, the involuntary tell. I watch her face in the half-second before she can compose it and I look for the thing I came here to find. Fear. Discomfort. The old wound opening. What I find instead is recognition. Clean and settled, the way you recognize something from a long time ago that no longer has any power over you. And then, moving in underneath it so quickly I almost miss it — something that looks, impossibly, like pity.

Jasper's heart was racing, he could have turned away from her but it was as if she's explaining what he has been curious about. "Ok Jasper, that cabin isn't a normal cabin, there's a book y'all shouldn't come across, you all should never read it, if you can get it before your friends, you all would be safe and never come back to the cabin, right now, the other ghosts wouldn't let you rest, especially my mother" she brushed a strand of her hair away.

Will quickly picks some books and throws them in a carton.. he clears his throat and Jenna turns to him. "Jenna, thanks for spending time with me today.. but aren't you going home?" "Do I have to?" She raised an eyebrow. "Yes, I mean, Micah will be home soon!"

She licked her lips as she read the part about the prince; he was tall, dark, handsome, and of course, charming. There was a knock on her door, and Mark peaked his head in. “Don’t forget, Jenna. Tomorrow, you told the twins you would take them to the history museum.” Jenna nodded, it was summer vacation, and The Morgs viewed her as a babysitter. Since she liked the Twins, she didn’t mind as much. Most of her friends were on vacation with their families anyway. “Goodnight,” Mark said. “Night,” Replied Jenna. She continued reading into the night and fell asleep with the book on her chest.
