Novel & Cerita Reader Light

Atticus narrowed his eyes and studied me. "What is Lugh light?" I asked curiously. Sawyer chuckled, "Lugh is the Irish God of light and that flash you do is called Lugh light. It is a very rare gift…" "And something that your mother has given you because I can not do it," Atticus said while rubbing his chin in thought.

There were small tables and padded armchairs arranged throughout the levels in remote pockets for the visitors to read or discuss. Much of the lighting was provided by the ambient light of the sun through the glass wall of the front, though it was a particularly dreary day and the clouds had shut up much of the light, leaving only dark and grey. For days like these, there were, also, maurium lamps and floor lighting provided for convenience and style.

Returning my gaze back to the rock in my hands I'm to connect with it? I feel ridiculous. “Please put off the false lights, I believe it is distracting the Silver one” I swallow a laugh, false light? He talks really weirdly. Lily who hasn’t let up with her flashlight dimmed it and then turned it off completely. As the flashlight went out, the rock in my hand suddenly glows brighter I nearly drop it in surprise, it is not bright enough to be blinding or to illuminate a completely dark room but quiet, bright. The soft light slips between my fingers and I stare at it, fascinated.

The only things that match exactly are the two machetes in leather scabbards hanging from their waists. Lights is the oldest male Miracle, born the day after Radar. His real name is Javier. He’s a slender guy of Mexican descent, just a couple inches taller than me, with olive skin and longish black hair he keeps cut short in the front to keep it out of his yellow-gold eyes. His eyes were dark brown until his Power appeared several years ago, when they turned golden. His Power, as his nickname suggests, is light. He can create balls of light with either hand, or shoot a beam of light from his eyes. As he’s gotten older, he’s learned to control the size and the brightness of the balls and beam

"This wing isn't as reinforced." Before Lyra could respond, the power went out completely, plunging them into darkness. "Stay still," Ryker's voice came from somewhere near the desk. "Let me find some candles." The sound of drawers opening and closing filled the darkness, followed by the scratch of a match. Warm light flashed to life as Ryker lit several candles he'd found in the desk. In the golden glow, his face looked different. Softer. The harsh edges smoothed by shadows and flame. "Come on," he said, holding out his hand. "We need to secure the house before this gets worse."

The sunlight seeped in slowly through the linen curtains—warm, golden, and languid. It bathed everything in warm, forgiving hues. Lily woke up for the first time in a long time without the weight of nightmares. No jolts. No screams muffled in her throat. Just breath. Steady. Real.

The building's silhouettes suddenly became the dark night sky and the lights from their windows suddenly were twinkling. "Isn't that beautiful?" I asked when I saw a broken stoplight, the red light was blinking and the green and yellow once didn't seem to work. I thought it was aesthetically pleasing, under the gloom of the night, along the empty streets and silently passing cars. The slow blinking of that stop light seemed to harmonize with the quietness of the evening. I looked at Edgar and he was frowning at the stop light. "Pretty much could cause traffic, goodness, that should be fixed," he said and I rolled my eyes at him.

One hundred seventeen. A bright light hit my eyes. Leroy cursed, pressing his right hand to his face. The pain in the eyeballs decreased, the mercenary slowly opened his eyelids. Lighting, as it turned out, was not so dazzling. Two cast chandeliers, for a dozen candles each. And the wax had just begun to drip, as if the fire had been lit fifteen minutes ago.

"The text says she could see what others could not until she showed it to them." The library is quiet. River is looking at the window. The October morning light is coming through it in the flat pale way of this time of year and she is watching it with the tracking quality, the gold eyes following the angle of it across the floor. "She can already see the light moving," Soren says from the doorway. "She has been watching it since we came in here," I say. "Lyra watched the leaf shadows," Ivy says. "River is watching the light itself," Bastien says. "Not the shadow it makes. The light."

But her bright smile and sweet personality got rid of any negative thoughts that I had. Christine Gyamfi Stanzolio is the Light to my Shadow.
