Bonded to the Exiled Alpha

Bonded to the Exiled Alpha

I tell myself firmly And I start descending the stairs. My feel of slipping and falling to my death becomes unfounded as lamps light on their own once I reach the darker part of the stairs. I keep one hand to the wall, and my eyes flicker to the expanse of the library below. It’s exactly like the one above, with rows and rows of sturdy and tall bookshelves. The first shelf reads number 61. Time to find the 89th. The musk of old paper and ink is heavy in the air, and dusk covers the stone floor. My footsteps echo, lamps lighting and going out as I pass through the aisles.

The Island of the Silence

The Island of the Silence

It's like turning him up. Not violent. Careful. Then the movement stopped. Silence. The rain clapped on the metal. Mara felt her heartbeat. Hurry. Too fast. Suddenly clicked something. An old castle. And the lid glitt to the side. There was no sewerage below. No pipes. No darkness. It's an iron spiral staircase. She led down. Far down. Golden shimmering lamps illuminated the stages. ‘No’ Noah said right away. ‘Absolutely no’. “You still come along.”

A Queen Among Gods

A Queen Among Gods

She glances around, then looks up at me quizzically. “What?” I ask curiously. “Nothing, I just… you don’t seem like the reading type,” she says sheepishly. I smirk, “I’m full of surprises. Besides, I need to pass the time somehow. Books are a good escape. She walks in, and once again wanders around taking in the room. It’s a two-story library, with a black wrought iron spiral staircase leading to the second floor. The room’s 20-foot tall window looks out into the expansive entrance to the estate, which at this hour is lit up by night lights. The room is very minimalistic with white walls, grey furniture and black shelves lining every wall and overflowing with books.

A Gift from the Goddess

A Gift from the Goddess

I hadn’t been expecting that, but it turned out to be pretty beneficial for us. The upstairs consisted of three bedrooms, the downstairs a study and living space… though, most interestingly, Zac told me about a secret dungeon area at the very bottom. A space where he apparently kept the majority of his cleaning supplies and… anything else he didn’t want people to find. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to know the exact details of that one. Clarissa, without asking, had forced Noah to move into the study downstairs. He seemed a little annoyed until he looked over at me, probably remembering the night I had found him. After all, as Clarissa had said, he wasn’t even supposed to be here.

I just finished reading this story, and I have to say: I am speechless. This is the first story on this app that has completely captivated me. Finally, there are fresh, new plot elements—instead of the usual clichés you read on this app time and time again.

Just a bite

Just a bite

They may twist and turn and manipulate through loopholes that they have left in their wording but they don't just balatantly lie . " Check up on the little one . " Nadia tells Noah calmly as she continues preparing her pasta dish . She sprinkles a load of cheese on it and pops it in the oven . Noah , who seemed to be ignoring everything that was happening , gets up with a blank look and heads to the last door right at the end of the living room . He opens it and walks inside , the door was left open just ajar and I could clearly make out the scent of human blood . More than that , I could see a glimpse of a blood bag lying on the second step of the stairs .

Nanny and the Alpha Daddy

Nanny and the Alpha Daddy(His Nanny Mate)

“Be careful on those steps. And try not to get your fingers all over everything. The oils from your skin will ruin my books.” I nodded. “I’ll be careful,” I replied. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and switched on the flashlight, then descended down the stairs. With each step, the air became colder. By the time I got to the bottom, it was almost frigid. I found myself in a surprisingly small room, but it was still packed with books. The walls were made of bookshelves, and there were a few glass cases that housed extremely decrepit old tomes. Unlike upstairs, everything seemed to be neatly organized.

Stuck Between The Alpha And Rogue King

Stuck Between The Alpha And Rogue King

I started opening drawers, looking through his papers and books, but still, I found nothing. As I was about to leave Sebastian's room, I noticed something unusual. There was a bookshelf that was slightly open. I walked closer to take a look and realized that it was actually a hidden door that led to a set of stairs going down. My curiosity got the best of me, and I began to descend the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, I found myself in a dimly lit room. The air was heavy and suffocating, and it took me a moment to realize where I was. It was a small room, no more than ten feet wide, with two graves at its center.

Abandoned by Ex, Married to His CEO Brother

I turned to the closest one, a woman with sharp eyes, and asked, "Where’s Inspector Nolan Grant?" She pointed toward the far end of my apartment. "Near the bookshelves." I stepped carefully over the mess, my heart pounding. My reading nook was tucked into the corner by the window, a small space filled with bookshelves and a cozy chair. It had been my little escape, my place of peace after long, stressful days. Now, it was a disaster. One of my bookshelves had toppled over, its contents spilling onto the floor. Paperbacks and hardcovers lay in a heap, some with torn pages. The chair was shoved aside, my blanket crumpled in a pile.

Captivating The Brutish Billionaire

Captivating The Brutish Billionaire

As soon as we were inside, we walked down the hallway and made our way into the private library. "There's a cozy reading nook toward the far right side of this library. We can have our conversation there." She said, her tension palpable. Sensing her unease, I remained silent as we made our way to the reading nook she was talking about. "Woah." I whispered in astonishment as we arrived at the reading nook. The reading nook was nestled in the corner, surrounded by dark wood bookshelves. There was a central table and a plush cushioned couch, adorned with pillows and a blanket.

THE BILLION-DOLLAR NANNY OF THE MAFIA KING

THE BILLION-DOLLAR NANNY OF THE MAFIA KING

I asked as he led me toward the bedroom door. "I want to show you something," he answered. We left the master suite and walked together in silence. Kade guided me past the main staircase and took me down a narrow corridor I had never explored before. The hallway ended at a small wooden door hidden behind a large bookshelf. Kade opened the small door to reveal a steep, winding spiral staircase made of dark iron. The metal steps spiraled upward into the deep shadows. "Hold onto the railing," Kade instructed. "The steps are very steep."
