“What did you say?” Freddy was gorgeous, tall with a muscular build, and far too many tattoos for polite society. He had that bad boy vibe down to a science. Back in the day, he’d rebelled against his parent’s wishes, smoked far too much weed, and somehow ten years of his life slipped away. Now, at twenty-eight, Freddy was pulling his life together. Not only was he almost finished with his Bachelor of Science at the community college, but he’d also cut back on the weed and booze so he could help more at The Grind.

"I..." Freddy was not an impulsive person, but when it came to the woman he loved, all rationality flew out of the window. When Freddy woke up that morning and heard that Freya was taken to the police station, he devolved into a mess of panic and anxiety. He rushed over right away without a second thought.

I chuckled, more to ease the way I felt than because I found his words funny, “Well, there's something I didn't know.” I said with dripping sarcasm, “Anything else you want to tell me, Mr. Montgomery?” I pulled out my phone to check if I had any new messages, and when I looked up again, my brain short-circuited, and my mouth went dry. Freddy was standing and unbuttoning his shirt. He pulled it off to reveal a body that belonged to a god. My eyes ran down his chest, his biceps, his shoulder muscles that flexed in ways I found obscene as he pulled off his shirt.

Freddy was pretty naïve about things. For example, when he inadvertently caught sight of my belly button ring, he’d stared so hard I thought he was going to burn a hole through my skin. He’d blushed and scurried away with papers clutched to his chest, murmuring something about needing to get back to work and I’d realized with a surge of excitement, I’d seen something in Dr. Freddy’s eyes that hadn’t been there before, raw lust. Dr. Freddy was such a buttoned-down, old-fashioned gentleman-type that he never would’ve propositioned me openly but I started catching his gaze tracking my every move when he thought I wasn’t watching.

Now that they had run into a money tree like Francis, they were going to take him away. Francis was shocked. The three of them were still planning to kill Frederick and kidnap him even after he paid them. How perverse! Frederick suddenly appeared in front of Steve like a ghost. His speed stunned Steve, who took a step back fearfully. "H-How did you move so quickly? Are you a human or a ghost?" Frederick smiled. "I'm human. The one that's a ghost is behind you." Frederick made several weird gestures and muttered, "Angry spirits roaming the earth, come forth and seek vengeance. I, Frederick, will aid you, but you must return to the afterlife once you're done."

As Freddy watched himself get closer to the window, he could even feel the wind on his own butt crack, which made him panic. “No, wait, let’s talk this out. Don’t do this. Hey, hey, hey, don’t throw me. I’m begging you!” Freddy was scared witless. The building was over 20 f*cking levels high. How could they actually throw a person down there in broad daylight?! Javier asked from the couch, “Can we talk properly now?” “Yes, yes, definitely. I’ll talk properly. Of course I will.” No longer having his previous bluster, Freddy was about to pass out from fear now. When Herschel tossed him back down on the floor, he heard Javier ask, “This secretary of yours…”

He placed his hand on my shoulder to comfort me, but I flinched and shrieked. " Calm down beautiful... It was me. I was trying to comfort you. Don't worry I am here with you and I will fight all the demons for you." I could feel him smiling while he was speaking. Yes why not?? You are a satan and all the demons are already your friends. Why did you dare me to watch that damn movie? Why the hell, did I have to fall for your dare trap. I caught his arm very tightly. He took out his phone and opened the torch. Thank god, but the big shadows were looking like demons... I can't be scared of just a big shadow. This was absolutely childish. But the movie was having the effect on me.

Yorick said in an anxious voice. Sia ignored his advice and tapped the ‘Free’ icon. Jay and Yorick held their breath as the cell door swung open. The alien slowly stepped out into the light. Though he had a striking resemblance to Ron, he looked quite different in many aspects. His hair was matted with dirt and his soiled clothes were crumpled like an old piece of paper. The greatest thing that made him look different were his eyes. His eyes looked like a lump of flesh as if someone had sealed his eyelids together. It was horrifying. But, this didn’t deter Sia from moving closer to him.

John was optimistic but it wasn't enough to keep them still, the quivering sound of one of the campers was a signal that it was only a matter of seconds before everything went South for them. "Gary... I know you are frightened but please for your sake and the rest of us do not do anything stupid." John said trying to manage the whole situation and it was too late, the long claws of a beastly creature had slized through someone's flesh. The creature was huge with animalistic features of a wolf it's eyes a shiny red that was visible through the dark. Freddy didn’t look like she’d had more than one drink the night before, while Gemma’s head felt like it was about to explode. “Want to go for a jog with me?” Freddy asked, cheerful as ever. Gemma stared at her in mock horror. “Excuse me? Me—go jogging?” She grinned and held up one leg. “Um, my leg. I don’t run. And if I do, you’d better run faster, because something is chasing me. With those legs,”—she pointed at Freddy’s—“you’d leave me in the dust.” Freddy laughed. “If there’s a zombie outbreak, you think I’m tripping you?”
