My Reunion Needed a Reality Check

My Reunion Needed a Reality Check

I wasn't letting her off. "Sherry. Let's talk." I walked over and looked down at her. She shook all over, then forced a smile that looked worse than crying. "Willow... we were best friends." She reached for my clothes. I stepped back. "Best friends?" I laughed coldly. "What kind of best friend spreads a disgusting rumor about me and uses a fake photo to make everyone think I'm an escort?" Sherry went pale and shook her head like crazy. "No! Willow, let me explain. I really thought that woman was you. I was worried you were making a huge mistake—"

Escaping the Reality

Escaping the Reality

"Oh my god! I-I did... I did bumped someone. Oh my god!" "What else do you remember?" "Then my car won't stop until I bump some trees and I black out. Where's the lady? Is she okay? Is she alive?" "I'm sorry to say this but she didn't survive and you lost you visions too, that's why you couldn't see anything." When I heard him saying those words, I feel like my heart torn into pieces and my mind went blank. No! It can't be! He must be joking! "Y-you must be kidding m-me right?" I feel someone hug me tight and even heard her cry.

Broken Mirrors of Truth

Broken Mirrors of Truth

Ezra, choosing silence over words, listened intently, realizing she had no answers to the myriad of questions Scarlet presented. A sudden pause hung in the air, and Scarlet's gaze shifted from the plate to Ezra. "I am getting old," she confessed, her eyes distant. "I want you to come back and live with us. I don't want to hurt you, but you can't leave us like that." Scarlet's plea hung in the air, the vulnerability in her eyes revealing a loneliness that had settled in over the years.

in Between Realms

in Between Realms

I shut the door and go to my bed to lay down. Creator guide us. I close my eyes and I immediately feel the shift between realities. It's a heavy feeling that soon overtakes me. When I open my eyes again I'm standing on the realm bridge. The realm bridge is as busy as ever with jumpers walking along it and a few of them jumping off it. If only they knew what was going to go down tonight. "There you are," Ri says popping up behind me. "I was starting to think that he already took you."

Dream's Over: Back to Reality

bumped into me, sending red wine cascading down her dress. As the glass shattered, Silas appeared right on cue. His touch was gentle as he brushed shards of glass off her. Vivian stole a glance at me, but her eyes glistened with faux innocence. "Silas, don't be mad at Serena. I'm sure she didn't mean it." Silas glared at me. "Serena, enough is enough! Are you really still playing these childish games? You think you could actually win me back with such petty schemes?"

Fractured

Fractured

“No, no, no.” The shadows shift, and I swear I hear chains rattle. My arms wrap around my body instinctively, and panic claws at my chest. “I got out. I got out,” I chant, trying to wake myself up, to breathe, to think. “This isn’t real. I’m not here. I’m not here…” But it feels real. Too real.

Started reading this book two days ago, and damnnnnnn!! It’s such a breath of fresh air NOT knowing what’s going to happen next. I love how original this book is. Sadly, I’m all caught up so far, can’t wait for it to be complete, definitely a book I’d reread many times! <3

I started reading last night and I love it so far! really original, love the spicy scenes and Josie is a lot of fun. I'm used to reading stories where the pov shifts, but I'm enjoying only reading things from one pov. it keeps you guessing a bit more. great read! highly recommend it

Shattered Reflections

Shattered Reflections

“About everything I’ve done. About the people I’ve hurt.” Dr. Warren leaned forward slightly, his gaze encouraging. “That’s a good place to start, Cassia. It takes courage to face the truth.” Cassia laughed bitterly, shaking her head. “I don’t think it’s courage. It’s just… reality. I spent so many years trying to pretend that I was in control, that I deserved everything I took. But now, sitting here in this place, I don’t have any illusions left. I know what I did. And I know that I destroyed my own life in the process.”

Stamped, But Not Real

Stamped, But Not Real

She was gone. Didn't want him anymore. Vincent charged it, ripped it down, smashed it to the floor. He punched his own smiling face, over and over. Even when the glass sliced deep and blood dripped, he didn't stop. Like breaking it could undo everything. Only when it was unrecognizable did he finally quit. He staggered toward the living room—then froze. Next to the trash, something caught his eye. He knelt, picked up a few torn scraps. And then he saw it—two words that knocked the air out of him:

Fragments of a Vow

Fragments of a Vow

But every time he thought of those indecent photos, and every time he looked at his home that was missing its mistress, the pain in his chest became too much to bear. He was afraid he would break if he stepped inside. But after a week, intense and endless longing filled his every thought. He had no choice but to seek comfort in the remnants of past happiness. When they stepped into the chamber and saw the mutilated tapestries inside, Liam's face went deathly pale. He frantically grabbed the tapestries and turned them over one by one. In a panicked voice, he muttered, "No… No, this can't be. It's impossible! Where's Mom?"
