Now I was standing in the middle of town, surrounded by couples, families, and kids running around with glow sticks, walking beside the man I swore I wouldn’t let back in.
I sighed, folding my arms. “If I see one clown, I’m leaving.”
Allesio smirked. “You’re scared of clowns?”
“I never said I was scared. I said I don’t like them.”
He hummed. “Sounds like fear to me.”
I shot him a glare. “Keep pushing and I’ll make you regret it.”
“Noted.”
His grin was wide and boyish, and it did annoying things to my chest.
