Novel & Cerita Reap The Whirlwind Book

“Thankfully, it won’t be the last.” Like sand to dust, the spinning whirlwind that had grown around us stamped our mouths shut and made us unable to move. The red orb disappeared, the chairs soon evaporated and the powerful forces of the whirlwind dragged us into it, whirling us around. The world seemed to be spinning rather than us and before long, the relief I had once felt was sucked out of me. Letting the balmy pain begin again. ***

] Samuel did not get to read the rest. He and the notes, full of Tania's secrets and dreams, went up in flames together.

Tear said to mock drop. Anger filled Drop’s face. “What did you just say?” he shouted. “Just watch me. This is how you deal with them.” Tear raised his two hands, creating several whirlwinds. The younger boy sent them to the giant scorpions. Yric covered his face with his arm because of the flying sand. Tear grinned toward Drop as the whirlwinds brought the scorpions into the sky. They stopped the scorpions, but the whirlpool had taken them closer to the center. Before they could escape, the sand became softer, eating them up whole. The sand whirlpool submerged them into the sand like it was water.

I pulls it in shaky bursts, not the smooth torrent it was before – but it’s there – and it’s so clearly responding to my call – I moan a little, in relief as much as grief, as the wind mixes with the fire, lifting it high into the air. We all watch, breathless, as the fire climbs into the sky. And I shake my head because it’s not the same. The whirlwind sputters and starts, climbing and then falling and then climbing again, rough and uneven. But it’s there.

The Reaper disappeared in a puff of smoke. Around him, Cutter saw Keepers of the Light flashing their power in streams of blue and white as masses of black charged in shapes and sizes he’d never encountered. The wind picked up as Keepers of the Wind created tornadoes and wind gusts to carry off screeching demons. Plants sprung up from otherwise dead and cracking ground, entangling Reapers as they closed in or tripping up the demons who sought to destroy them.

They ran anyway, breathless though they didn’t need breath. The reaper’s scythe slashed again, carving through smoke and bone. The Wraith howled, splitting apart, dragged back into the cracks it had torn in the Veil. The air sealed shut with a thunderclap. Silence fell. Avery pressed against the nearest wall, gasping. Their hands shook violently. “What the hell was that—what the hell was that?” The reaper planted their scythe into the ground and leaned on it, eyes burning with cold fury. “That was the mess you made.”

We broke through the last set of trees and came standing in front of a huge mountain. An eerie sound gave goose bumps to my skin. “I am guessing the coven is…” Rand could not complete is statement, when a whirlwind came forth from the mountains and headed for our direction. “Watch out!” Rand yelled and pulled my arms away from the incoming wind. We watched from the ground as the wind encircled us repetitively till it stopped right in front of us. My eyes widened in disbelief as three figures walked out of the whirlwind before it vanished completely afterwards.

SERIES NAME : BORN BY POWER SEQUEL NAME : UP RISE OF HELL (BOOK 2) CHAPTER 9 : GRIM REAPER Scene opens up to a wide spread land. Thus, dry it was. Like a desert. Dead trees still, standing still and the bubble clouds, having a bursting purple tint to it. Calypso was caught walking in fright from a high up angle. "John!" She yelled. His ring, dropped to the floor right before Calypso's feet.

“Why is someone I called a fool speaking up? I was planning to get back to you later since you are the one who hurt my fairy so badly. But we can do this now.” Mane tilted his head as his cold eyes focused on the elder. His eyes span rapidly, revealing True Eyes. With a serene expression on his face, he snapped his fingers and said, “Kill him.” Two figures appeared beside Mane and swiftly appeared before the elder. One held a beautifully ornamented staff, while the other used her nails as her weapons. These women were Crystal and Aurora – the Chaos Witch and the Wraith! They who had been missing all this while had finally been returned to Mane! This was part of the Reaper’s generosity!

Wait… bonds with an S? As the weight of her presence faded, a single snowflake appeared in front of me. It had a different shape from the one in the temple. But it also had it’s own glow. The snowflake floated towards me and went into my mouth, down to my lungs. I felt the sharp edge of the cold snowflake, and then it dissipated, energizing my body like a cold winter’s embrace. The feeling faded, and suddenly, I was back. The cold night air slammed into me as I coughed violently, choking on water. My body trembled, the pebbly shore pressing against my back.
