The whole memory of the nighr crashing back to me, tearing me open all over again. “Avenge my spirit, White Wolf" he whispered before his form slowly faded away. I was left staring at an empty space where he had been, my chest hollow and burning. His words echoed inside me. The final push I needed. I turned my gaze back toward Ember Moon. They didn't deserve rest. Not after everything.

" I looked around and realised that the winds blowing made all the leaves surround me in a circular manner Like they were engulfing me to soothe me The water in the lake looked a lot more blue Like blue lights were being emitted by the water The old man passed me a reassuring smile "She is here son watching you....telling you she is here with you...." I found an unknown courage inside me and got up on my feet "Don't worry Ezra your mate is coming ....you can't die unless your wolf defeats me.....the thunder wolf may have power of thunder but I have power of love.."

A whirlwind of darkness formed around his head and the sandglass on his shoulder started glowing. It was working, by Ignas it was finally working! Right? She didn’t even know but she kept going, hoping that it was. The wind became so strong, she had to fight against it to remain standing on her feet. “STOP!” he growled, his voice sounding anything but human, as the whirlwind finally gave into an explosion that slammed her back against a tree.

~Mel~ The wind whipped around me like a storm, tearing at my clothes, pulling my hair in every direction. I was in the center of it all, completely helpless. It felt like being in the eye of a tornado, but there was no calm—just chaos. My heart raced as the whirlwind intensified, and someone’s voice, distant but urgent, pierced through the roar. "Melody! Make it stop!" I spun around, trying to find the source of the voice, but I couldn’t see anyone. It was a female voice, familiar yet strange, but I couldn’t place it.

Magnus and Alex joined her, their voices ringing out in unison, calling for aid. For a moment, the forest responded with nothing but the whisper of the wind and the creak of ancient branches. Desperation began to claw at them as they stood in the oppressive stillness. But then, as if answering their call, a gust of wind erupted around them. It swirled and howled, transforming into a fierce whirlwind that encircled them, and trapped them in a vortex of dark energy. They shielded their eyes from the debris, their weapons held at the ready.

It looked rough outside. The wind howled through the chimney, rattling the windows like it was trying to squeeze itself into the room and shake them out of their frames. Leila glanced at the flickering shadows beyond the bare bushes and wondered how long it would be before Grossman’s people realized they hadn’t buried all their problems in the avalanche. But she didn’t intend to put her unease on display spooking Christina out of her wits. Her aunt went through a lot in the last two weeks.

Each vision was accompanied by a wave of emotional intensity as if the memories were trying to communicate something important. In one particularly haunting vision, Lyra saw a young woman standing on the edge of a cliff, her silhouette framed against the twilight sky. The woman looked exactly like Lyra, with the same features and expression. The wind whipped around her, and she was whispering Elias’s name, her voice filled with a mix of sorrow and longing.

I trembled. After I returned to the past, all of the details I had previously neglected screamed for my attention. I was absolutely certain at this point that Joy was behind my parents’ deaths. I did not manage to return to the point before my parents’ deaths and save them. But I could find proof of Joy killing them and bring her to justice so that my parents could rest in peace. At that moment, my phone rang. It was a call from Joy. “Alania, where did you go? I can’t find you in your ward.”
