She asked as they both hugged. “I’m.. good. I wasn’t expecting to see you here.” “Well, here I am. I came with my fiancée. He is a politician.” “Oh… nice.” He answered, nodding. Rebecca sighed and stared at him. “Are you really fine, Eddy?” She asked, and Eddy gulped. He lowered his head and nodded. “Yes, I am, Rebecca.” He answered and forced on a smile to convince her. Rebecca took his head and rubbed it slowly.

I asked quietly. Edward hesitated before smiling gently. “He’s very busy right now, but he’s making sure everything is ready for your pack school enrollment.” I tucked the snacks away carefully before pulling out a folded paper from my pocket. “I made this for Father,” I said, handing it to him. Edward opened it and stared at my drawing. It showed a strong alpha wolf standing protectively over two smaller wolves. “I’m sure he’ll love it,” Edward said softly, his wolf’s sincerity wrapping around me like a warm hug.
