The woman, Alpha, smiled. “He is the Alpha King.” Hearing what she wanted to imply, the corner of my lips raised and my eyes brightened in delight. “Good... thank you...” I softly uttered.

The Alpha King must hate me so much that he had to kill my parents, the ones who gave me life in this world. Her head remained looking at the ground she could not see, “I did not mean to disrespect the King, I —” “Yet you still did! You have endangered the pack! Because of you people died!” the Alpha shouted at her, his hand moved to the burnt house and the families affected as if Georgia could see them. In a slow and guilting manner, gritting his teeth in anger, he added, “Including your parents. You killed them with your insolence.”

I closed my eyes, focusing on chanting some more, before opening them back again, and saying one last word, “Begone!” The man’s body stopped convulsing at once, and then stilled completely. “You evil woman!” Gamma Spencer shifted at once, and charged at us almost blindly. He was no match for an Alpha whose sorrow was indescribable. Indeed, Alex’s father made quick work of him. “Your highness,” Beta Marc was calling desperately. “Your highness!” Only the Alpha King was no more. His wolves began to lose the will to fight, and many of them bowed their heads in submission, some even showing their bellies. I was about to fall to my knees, but Paulina helped me remain steady.

Vittoria exhaled a heavy breath, her voice trembling as she told him in a low voice, " Destruction! The pack... is bound.. to decay..Alpha..I am sorry but it's the truth.." I gasped in shock, stumbling a step back. Even Kendrick's expression lost all the color. He growled at her again impatiently, " YOU ARE WRONG! I AM THE ALPHA KING!! LOOK INTO MY EYES!" “Keep going!” The relic hummed with power, and a beam of pure energy shot out, striking the Alpha King and sending him sprawling back. He howled in pain, his form flickering and destabilizing. “This isn’t over!” he bellowed, his voice echoing through the safe house. “I will return, and you will pay for this!” With a final scream, the Alpha King vanished into the night, the relic’s energy dissipating. Isabella and her ex collapsed to the floor, exhausted but triumphant.

She sniffled, but remained silent knowing fully well that they were only trying to mock her and nothing else. "I guess someone cried their eyes out today" Scarlett giggled as she spoke, "It's such a pity that you lost on this one, Kiara. You lost the opportunity to become the Alpha's Luna, and Queen of the Blood Moon Pack. You thought you had it all, but how's this for a start?
