I had to do this right, so my efforts won't be in vain. I walked into her room and walked around, searching for anything that could give me a clue about her secret life. I knew the princess was smart and really quick witted. As I walk around the room, I passed the window. As I looked out, I saw her. Crying, amongst the flowers. She was always amongst the sunflowers. I guess she really liked them. I really felt bad for her, having to be forced to do something you don't want to, but have no choice to. I know how it felt.

"Chase me, Father!" Shouted the eight-years-old Princess Amayah of Lancayan. They are in the palace garden and are having fun playing. Her father, King Kendra chases after her while laughing. They were also accompanied by her older sister, Princess Aloha and their mother, Queen Aruha. They picture a happy family that anyone would envy.

Irritated by its sudden force, she quickly rolls down the window, rushing to her beautiful mother for comfort. "Now, now, sweet child, calm yourself," the goddess said, the words melting like butter between her lips. Her hair was a deep ruby red, her eyes as green as a meadow on a beautiful summer day. Her daughter had the same features, sharing almost no resemblance to her father. However, the daughter is blessed with her father's warm, enchanting laugh and quiet personality.

Once he was gone she looked back and went up to Caden. "You can't be here you need to leave," she demanded. "Then you're coming with me." he fired back. "I have things to do and you are getting in my way. The people here are dangerous and I don't want to deal with anything having to do with you." Caden took the wad of cash from her hands and flipped through it before handing it back to her. "Is all of this just for money? You have plenty of it, Princess. Wait, no, I should not call you Princess anymore, how about Venus."

The fabric made a shushing, crackling sound as it moved, almost as pretty as the color itself. “Don’t lift your dress,” her momma said, and put a hand on her daughter’s arm to stop her. Purple Princess looked up at her mother, the edge of her skirt still halfway above her knees. And she smiled. She was wearing lipstick too—a cranberry stain mostly faded, smeared around the edges of her mouth. She was wearing her mother’s lipstick, just like me.

Aynyra paused her healing, "Are you sure?" "The men won't touch me anymore if I'm not pretty." Aynyra's face darkened, but she complied, healing the wound just enough so that it would still scar, but heal mostly on its own. "We have a long day ahead of us, but I can assure you, with me as Queen, such behaviour will never be tolerated by anybody in this kingdom, ever." Aynyra's face was still twisted with a scowl, but she allowed them to continue dressing her in her finest day gown. She needed to make an impression as future Queen, and the blood-red dress would acknowledge both her power and grief for the war and lost lives. A red Queen. A Princess of Death.
