Red looked at me with a "do something" demand in her eyes. She probably wanted to stay out of any kind of conflict, but I was about to drag her into the middle of the fucking storm. "Yes," I confirmed, "She is the Red Queen." I still held my hand on her waist even if she tried to free herself. Finally, she gave up on that and confidently gazed at Charlotte.

Had I not turned rogue, we wouldn't have gone to that temple; had I been strong enough to fight off Madalynn and Behar, Rosalie wouldn't need to die.
