*Punch* *groan* *screams* * kicks* Covering my ears I looked for him. My head snapped to a long tall, strong, and masculine man in a white shirt, sleeves rolled up to the elbow. I gasped watching the way his muscles bulge every time he hit his prey. I gasped in horror watching his other side. Today he is looking like a furious devil ready to burn down hell in his fury. Everyone present there is trembling after watching the monstrous side of him. He was fighting so inhumanly that even I started to get scared of him. Is he the same man who was pampering me like a child a couple of minutes before? No!

My pulse hammered wildly in my chest as Travis stopped right in front of me, sunglasses reflecting my panic-stricken face. “Miss me already?” he asked. I wanted to scream, hide, and slap him all at once. Instead, I whispered, “What are you doing here?” His grin widened. “Collecting what’s mine.” My brain short-circuited. Jasmine gasped behind me. “Oh, my God.” Dead. I was dead. My life was officially ruined.

Taking advantage of my distraction, the muscle man kicked me to the ground. I fell hard, and the muscle man elbowed me. "Let me go; stop touching me!" Sasha screamed. The man touching Sasha was being lewd, grinning, and trying to grope her. Sasha was on the verge of tears. Seeing her in such distress only fueled my rage. I charged at the hefty man, grabbed him, and broke his arm without hesitation. "Ow—" The man howled in pain. I was beyond furious, attacking him relentlessly until he was on the ground, unable to move.

The three men get exhausted and they rest on the floor. I mock Giovanni, "That's all that you've got?" He scowls. Then, says, "Shut up, Alessandro, you know that death is inviting you." With quick moves, I grab my rifles and shoot the three hefty dudes. I laugh and see Giovanni's hair rise. Pools of blood cover my clean marble floor.

She didn’t flinch or pull away. Like my warning meant nothing, she lifted her eyes to mine, calm, almost playful, and even flirting with her eyes. I felt the heat that I had to release her immediately, turning back to the ring. The fight was over by now. The muscular man stood in the center, breathing hard, looking victorious, and absorbing the chants from the crowd. He wiped blood from his mouth and flexed his arms, as the crowd roared. Then he shouted. “Who’s next?” The noise died down slowly.

Adam greeted, his voice laced with tension. His presence cast a shadow over Maxine, causing her to slowly lift her head. She saw a man with pale skin and a dark aura standing before her. It was then that Adam noticed the wounds and bruises on her face. However, no trace of pity crossed his mind. "Nice to see you again," Adam uttered, waving his hand. Maxine welcomed Adam’s sardonic grin with solemn expression, as if he's not curious to what the muscle man in front of her is about to do.

"Ma'am, I went to your house this morning to pick up some documents, and I saw this on the couch. I believe Morgan had drawn this, and I thought it would make you happy just seeing it." He handed the drawing to me with three little stick figures holding hands in crayons with smiles on their faces. Scott thought it was the three of us. I thought so too… Until I saw the date in the lower right corner. That date was the day my parents had died in that car crash. My voice shook. "How did you get this drawing?" Scott looked confused and answered honestly. "It was on the living room couch. I picked it up without thinking..." I burst out laughing, my laughter sounding like it was laced with despair

God, I had no idea life could be so fun when I did not have to think about them. My partner called me and started an online meeting. Excited, they told me the project ended perfectly on their side. The path had been hard. Fortunately, the end was perfect. It did not get in the way of us making money. I had to ask, though. I wanted to know what happened after I dropped out of the project. My partner thought I was just being curious. "Nothing much. Claude Group's representative got fired because he made a big blunder. Ms. Claude treated him like he was the most important thing to her. I thought they had a fling. Guess not."
