"Baby's full name?"
Elena didn't hesitate. "Zuri Hart."
The registrar wrote it down, then glanced up. "Middle name?"
Elena considered it for a moment — a decision she hadn't actually made yet, in all the chaos of the last two days. "Zuri Adaeze Hart," she said finally, the name arriving from somewhere she couldn't fully explain, except that it felt right, felt like something rooted and hers, unconnected to anyone who wasn't in this room.
"Beautiful," the registrar said, writing carefully. "Mother's full legal name?"
