Rejected Mates Novels & Stories

And that brought me back full circle to the problem at hand. If someone else, anyone else, had imprinted on me, it wouldn't have been so big of a deal. Most mates go on to have happy lives together. Once the female accepts her mate their love and devotion to one another is pretty much set in stone. Very rarely has someone refused an imprinted mate but the times that it's happened, the rejected party has ended up living an abominable existence, some have even died strangely enough. Meanwhile the rejecter doesn't get off scotch free.

No one cared to know us by our names rather by the size of our bodies and stamina in bed. The leader of the harem held me by the hand and walked me towards the center of the hall. The closer we got, the more enticing and captivating the mysterious scent I'd caught all day became. I didn't dare look up as it was forbidden for a sex slave to look at the King. There was a surge of emotions through me and I almost bursted into tears as my wolf howled in the head, wanting to be near its mate as soon as possible. 'How could I possibly meet my mate in this situation?'

Alpha Carmine sits down. “Father don’t ask me to stop searching for her. Klondike and I want and need our mates. If I have to start searching myself then I will, I’ll never stop.” Beauden repeatedly shakes his head “I can’t stop. Not until I find Wissy. I was wrong for taking her as I did. I pray every day she forgives me. I’ll do whatever she wants me to do as long as my beautiful mate accepts me.” Carmine nods “Okay I understand what you're saying. Have you thought that your mate bonds might leave? After all, you rejected her. I don’t know if once you reject someone and take it back that will change anything. "

I could also feel some connection between the two of us as if the mate bond wasn't broken. But that was impossible, Ethan had rejected me and I had accepted his rejection even though it was hard to do. Could it be that the rejection didn't work and the mate bond wasn't completely broken and there was a chance for repair? My heart leaped as I thought of this. There was no way in hell for its possibility. I had never heard of a mate bond that was only half broken and not completely broken. Suddenly I remembered Ethan's girlfriend, Hailey. She too had a fair share of my misfortune and would make sure to use every opportunity she got to harass me.

King Darken said in an unbelievable manner. "Don't underestimate someone my love, River saw something in him that is why she chose him immediately Tyler rejected her. Haven't you wondered why she didn't wait for days to pass before she gets over her mate? That is what rejected mates do but in her own case, she was quick to make that 'Mere servant Wolf 🐺 boy' her mate a few hours of her rejection." Lora told him, still smiling. "Same thing Tyler did with Beauty, he chose her over River, right?"

That's good because the last thing I want is for him to have a glance at my glowing eyes. His rejection shattered my heart into small pieces. My mate rejected me! I held both my knees and buried my face while crying my heart out. Why am I so unlucky in life? My mate just rejected me and I couldn't have a mate again. How cruel can he be? I feel so useless now. I balled my fist, then stood up with tears that blurred my vision and ran towards the barn while sobbing and slamming the door when I got inside. Layla startled and yelped.

The confused look on my face must’ve appeared again as Christian took over from his mate, "sometimes it ruins existing relationships, if someone is in a relationship before, or if a sister's boyfriend turns out to be her fated mate. Sometimes it never happens at all. Sometimes the fated pair aren’t right for each other after all. It’s rare that rejections happen, but they do." "An alpha a few years ago rejected his mate for a marriage alliance. His mate was an omega and he didn't want to sacrifice the alliance on the off chance she would be a good luna," Annabelle chimed in sadly. I could believe that. It was sensible and reasonable, but did the alpha even give his poor mate a chance? If she

Wholly Goosebumps Damien She hesitantly asked. Are you going to reject me? I pulled her onto my lap, still being mindful of her leg. What, NO never. I kissed her. I would never put you through the pain and suffering that goes with rejection, besides, I. Want. You. I told her making sure to punctuate my last three words. I looked into her eyes hoping that she sees all my love and loyalty to her and only her. What happens when a mate is rejected? She asked. Well, the rejected mate, if they don’t accept the rejection and even some that have accepted the rejection can go through depression, some end up going rogue because they have lost all hope and have lost the human part of themselves. I tell him what ran through my mind and he starts laughing at the scowl Daxton gives me. “Our family has been the Beta to Silver Crest Pack from its founding days and there are journals on every family member that held the Beta position over the years. One out of three journals mentions a rejection or unhappy Mate-bond, because one of the two was not pleased with the bond the Goddess gave them. None of them could fight the Mate-bond and by the time they found out that their Mate was a jerk it was too late. Those that got rejected had to wait a long time to find a second chance and some never did.” Daxton says.

I interjected to hide the truth that I was pissed off at the fact he had come up with a way through all this crap, with something so simple nonetheless. "It's not simple." He announced, making me still at the cold reminder he could read my thoughts. Pursing my lips I motioned for him to continue. "You see, the idea of a fated mate bond is that it is in place until death or rejection... and once you have rejected them, a new mate will be generated. And I have a feeling after the way your mates insulted the moon goddess, that mate would be on the sidelines waiting to take her place as their mate and Luna or... well you get the gist of what I am saying."
