"Excuse me but I didn't order anything." I looked down at my welcome mat, there was a medium-sized red box with gold silk ribbons professionally wrapped around each side. "I don't know what to tell you miss. I just deliver the parcels." He shrugged before walking back to his van. I picked up the box and walked back into the house closing the door behind me, I hesitantly unwrapped the box to find a carefully protected photo frame. I pulled the photo frame out, unravelling the protective casing.

I gave a brief nod while reaching for a document from the drawer beside me. “Anything else?” Her eyes shifted briefly toward the box. “This was delivered through the reception an hour ago.” She said, “The sender requested that you open it personally.” My attention settled on the box for a moment. “Thank you, Jessica.” She inclined her head once before leaving the office quietly. The silence returned the moment the door shut. For a while, I ignored the box completely. Then eventually, I reached for it. The packaging was more expensive than it looked. I lifted the lid slowly.

I repeated, hating how brittle my voice sounded. Gabriella smiled wider, clearly noticing the way my hands curled into fists at my sides. “Yes. Strange, really. No sender's name on it. Just sitting there like a little mystery. With your name in it.” Her eyes narrowed just slightly. “You seem … tense.” I crossed the room before I fully realized what I was doing. The box sat on the table beside her, plain brown cardboard, unassuming. My fingers closed around it without hesitation. “Give it to me,” I said.

In the other box there was just a lot of clothing and in the last box, I found a credit card. But not just any credit card. A Black Card. It was nestled neatly into a black box. I knew who this was from and I sighed, grabbing my phone and sending him a text. Me: 'I'm not accepting this as an apology, Landon. I don't want your money.' There was no way that I could return any of these as they didn't have a return address. "Never did I think Slater could be this soft." She laughed, grabbing a bottle of water.

A small white card tucked into the ribbon. Camila picked it up with trembling fingers.

When your time is up the lock from your inner box will automatically open to give you guidance for the next task along with your souvenir.” “There’s another box inside?” Lara knelt down and looked into the letter box curiously.
