My body convulsed, bones shifting and rearranging in pain and exhilaration. The world blurred, sounds muffled, as a new form took shape. When my vision cleared, I found myself standing on all fours, fur brushing against my skin, my senses heightened and raw. My eyes, no longer human, glowed with an ethereal violet shade, a testament to the hybrid nature that ran through my veins. A low growl rumbled deep within my chest—from Nasya, a challenge to the rogue that stood before me. The beast faltered. Grabbing the opportunity, I attack my movements stronger with new strength and agility. My instincts were sharp and honed.

They all stare at me a moment before Kenna takes my hand and begins leading me from the room. Rhys runs ahead of us, bellowing Enki’s name as he leaps out of the packhouse and into the air, shifting gracefully. “Whoa!” I say. The scent of him, earthy and alluring, mingled with Kieran’s, creating a volatile, intoxicating blend.

His outrage took over all of his senses as if he couldn’t feel any other emotions now but anger. Raeherys rose higher and higher until he bent down, landing his arms against the peak of the ranges for support. His skin hardened into golden scales as his neck extended, slowly morphing his head into a serpent. His blazing chest was as black as coals, actively glowing with ember. And the last part of the transformation—nine heads sprouted alongside his own in equal size and length. The deafening screeches struck the dark clouds like thunder, their throats drowning from the flames. Raeherys finally transformed—the Primal Form of a Hyborn—the golden ruler over all dragons.

He stretched his wings, shaking the air with a deep rumble. “Master Kieran,” he growled, voice dark as a storm. “You finally remember who you are.” Before I could answer, a silver flash appeared beside him. Fenris, the Wolf Beast, massive and sleek, his fur glowing faintly under the moonlight. His gaze was fierce, intelligent and alive. And then, with a deafening roar that cracked the heavens, Vyrax descended, my Dragon Beast. His scales shimmered like molten gold and steel, his eyes the color of lightning. The earth quaked as he landed.

Fucking hell is wrong with her! Before I could process my thoughts completely, a sharp pain struck me right on my chest and I screamed. Bones snapping, cracking, shaping and reshaping. Finally, Arya shifted into her form. She dipped her head towards the sky and a breathtaking and graceful howl left her lips. She turned and Ryan had already shifted I to Kaelis. A satisfied feeling of accomplishment washed over me on sighting Kaelis. His brown fur glistening under this sunlight. He's beautiful, and breathtaking.
