The conversation continued. Then Richard unexpectedly asked, "Are you happy?" The table grew quiet. Not awkwardly. Just enough for everyone to realize the question mattered. Judith looked down at her plate. Thinking. Was she happy? Her life was chaotic. She was pregnant. The media was obsessed with her. Two men were apparently in love with her. Which sounded much more glamorous than it actually felt. Yet despite everything... She smiled. "Most days." Richard nodded. Satisfied. Because that was enough.

Goldstein said. “That’s a good idea,” Rayvin agreed. “You know, Rayvin. You should come to the book club in town,” the older woman said. Rayvin tensed up, and she felt Mikael squeeze her hand. “I don’t think I’m a book club person,” Rayvin said. The mayor and his wife chuckled. “Neither am I,” she confessed. “They have been reading the same book for two years,” her husband said with a grin. “Yes, well, Gossip and sherry club just doesn’t have the same ring to it,” Mrs. Goldstein said, making them all chuckle.

Judy picked a perfume from the bag and they laughed. She was finally dressed; she didn't bother to pack her hair up; she just let it down to cover her sweaty skin. “You look beautiful,” Judy said and Rose smiled at her. ”Thank you.” Judy handed over a book to Rose, it was already opened to page six. “Dining rules.” Rose read it slowly and looked at Judy. “Seriously?” She lifted the book and laughed dryly. “I just need you to glance through page 6 and 7 briefly, you'll read the rest later,” Judy said.

His face was smiling, but the threat in his words was unmistakable. Judy lowered her eyes and swept her face to avoid looking at him. Blair raised an eyebrow and whistled, "You want to continue playing poker with me? Judy, ask yourself how badly I was victimized by you in the first place." When Judy didn't hesitate to expose the evidence in his hand and end his career, Richard was so angry that he almost cut ties with him. "This is what you deserve!" Judy said and struggled twice. But the ropes around his body were too tight and he couldn't break free.

“I mean it's no longer a novelty for the Abbott's to roll in the hay the hired hand, I mean your father was a—” Richard rose at last, his face carved into granite. “—When was the last time you visited? Do you know Meredith’s favorite book? Carter’s favorite food today? Their favorite cartoon? Their teacher’s name? Do you know who they run to when they’re happy? Or when they’re scared?” Juliet faltered, just for a moment. “They run to Monet,” Richard said, his voice low but cutting. “Not you. Not even to me.” “Richard—” Juliet tried again, but he cut her off.

Edward answered with a shrug, but he was really curious to know who the books were for. These were some of the most difficult books in Richard's collection. You could tell he was a little irritated when he made the selection. He originally went to find Richard, but the latter said he needed some time to wrap up a project, so he left him with a request while Richard went to finish his work. "As the President is so learned, I'm sure my curious junior could benefit greatly from the President's careful selection. " His words were exact. This old friend of his was never shy when it came to giving him orders, and as payback, he chose the most difficult titles he could find, and Richard feared that

He says and Jude shakes his head and I smile, high-fiving him. “Nice.” I let out. “Are you two done being children?” Richard asks as he walks towards the drinks cart in the room's corner. He pours us drinks and brings them to us while we stay silent. Jude looks like he is about to explode, and Dylan is now lost deep in his own thoughts. “Okay, what the fuck is going on?” I ask as soon as Richard sits in front of me. His eyes lock on mine and he takes a deep breath before he brings his drink to his lips.

He gestured for her to have a seat and as she did, she stretched the book she held towards him. “I’m not a fan of books”, Richard said, darting his eyes away from it. “You need to see something here”, Emily persisted and after a while, he took the book from her. His eyes stayed glued to it for over five minutes and all he could wonder was why and how someone would be stupid to write something of such. “You believe this, don’t you?” He asked with a giant scowl on his face. Emily nodded her head calmly. “I would show you something, before the week runs out”, Richard said, and flung the book to the far end of the living room.

Richard's unit was the exact opposite of his, it was clean and orderly well organized. Richard was evidently unpredictable, like everything you see in his sole appearance might not what you expected and that unpredictableness made Jayler wanting to know more of him. He picked up a copy of the book from the stockpile, the same copy of what his sister have, quickly flipping page by page, he was beginning to admire Richard's unpredictability even more. He returned the book back then where he got it then started looking around his unit. He saw a picture frame in which a picture of what he believed was Richard

I smile at her as Richard sits back next to me. “Jude, what are you reading? Anything good?” I ask, and his eyes meet mine as he takes the glasses, folds them, and shoves them into his jacket pocket. “It’s something for work. I can’t really say if it’s good or not, just started,” he says, and I nod. “We have this new author, and I am reading her work to see if we are going to publish her books,” he tells me, and I nod. “So you’re into publishing?” I ask, and he nods. Richard looks at me, and I shrug. “Just getting to know your brothers,” I announce, and he nods. He is still not talking much, and he is still lost in his own thoughts.
