Rick Riordan Percy Jackson Novels & Stories

he says, making me smile as I see him take his shirt off. Ricky has always been big with the education of our pack. It didn't surprise me that he would talk my brother into making sure that every kid and teen attended school. He begins to unbuckle his belt, and I bite my bottom lip as I see his muscles flex under him so effortlessly. I have been extremely hormonal lately, and no matter how many times we do it at night, I am left famished for him. Insatiable with desires for him. I don't know what the hell has gotten into me, even Freya has been acting weird.

Dixie is busy fighting for her life, and the council is busy planning her death! Making my way straight to the healer's hall, I unexpectedly meet my friend, Ryder. He looks pissed off, so I ask him, “What's wrong, Ry?” “Your human mate has a human friend. Remember that nerd that follows her about like a lovesick puppy?” He asks. “Yes...uhh... what's his name again?” I always forget his name as he is hardly anyone important. “Jackson.” Ryder spits out. He is visibly pissed off, and I wonder what Jackson did this time. That human has a knack for being nosy.

“Multiple?” “Oh yeah. Our little Ainsley is an avid surfer. So is Riley. He could probably get sponsored if he didn’t get himself in trouble so often.” Nick smiles wistfully. “She and Riley go for early morning rides all the time. It’s for the glass, but she says it’s the best time to watch the Goddess Selene defy Zeus so she, Helios, and Eos can see each other. Whenever Riley is grounded, I take her and we howl at the moon together before it sets.”

Obsidian eyes lock onto mine and he pauses, the expression so human for a being that is far from it. I watch Riordan, all six-foot seven inches mass of thick muscles and brute strength, stand in my kitchen, wearing a freaking apron—he looks so damn sinful in that—and he watches me in turn, taking me in from head to toe like he is unable to look away from me, who resembles a drowned rat. And for the first time, Riordan smiles, firm, full lips parting to reveal a perfect set of teeth and I’ve never seen fangs looks so attractive, yet dangerous. “Hey. You hungry?”

It had been my decision to name our son, so I thought it was fitting to name him after Ryker and his best friend. I might not have been a huge fan of Julian, but he did sacrifice himself to save us. It was the least I could do, and I knew it would mean a lot to both Ryker and Ryan. Ryan has been assigned as R.J’s personal bodyguard and of course favorite uncle. Well, that was if Leo wasn’t around. As of late, he hasn’t been around a lot. He also found his mate, and they were expecting their first child. She has been helping her pack rebuild but will be joining us at the Palace after the baby is born.

"We have a few things to discuss." Rylan's demeanour is completely different around his Guards, I decided. He's all the more Alpha, as he sets his shoulders back, walking with sharp hair that makes me a little nervous, and I'm not the one he's dealing with. I would have to be a Guard standing in that line right now. "It seems as though one of you are working with the Alpha of Vengeance. Alpha Kaden."

Dude, Prince Rhyker can defeat you in one slice. Can we ban the royals, please? "Did you read the book Gelium?" Asked Justin, I stopped eating my sandwich and cleared my throat to answer him, I can't believe he has the boldness to ask me that. "Never mind, I shouldn't ask that to a book lover." He said quickly, making me smile in satisfaction.

Percy continued his rampage, single-handedly killing the wolves that others were desperately trying to save from Ryker’s black magic. Alpha Hugo and Jude exchanged stunned glances, witnessing the extent of Percy’s power. Thanks to the parental bond between Alpha Darious and Seraphina, they had been able to locate Ryker’s palace and break in, with Ronan’s assistance. But if Percy touched them, they were all dead. Every second that passed, Percy killed wolves with merciless efficiency. Seraphina clenched her fists, her heart heavy with the truth. She had suspected that Percy was not truly alive, that he was a creation of Ryker’s dark magic, the first of his abominations.

Her research about the three men didn’t come out well, at least to her. Returning her gaze to the laptop, she continued. “The Riordan family isn’t just any dynasty. They’re like a nest of vipers, waiting to strike at anyone who gets in their way of power. If you're going to marry him, you have to be strong which I know you're not. You have to bite them before they bite you.” She heaved.

Harper asked me. “His pack has allegiance to the king of Scotland, so I’m assuming that will be the higher power I’ll answer to,” I said and Slade opened his mouth to say something but closed it again as I gave him a look. “A king? Holy shit, my poor pancreas is throbbing again!” Harper said. “Isn’t that your…” Leon started to say but Slade growled at him. “Stop worrying, I’ll handle it,” I said. We walked into the school building and headed to our lockers. Rick walked towards Dani as she got her books out and she looked up and saw him as she turned to leave.
