"Ellie? How are you?" "Great. And you?" "I'm fine. How are your parents?" "They're great. Just my mom has been a bit tense lately." "Oh, let me introduce my friend. It's just that she hasn't given up on trying to get Nat back with his ex, and she's forcing me to help her with that mission." My stomach churns. "I think you met Mia at dinner, right?"

Whoever this Riley was, they were exceptionally skilled, so much so that my top-notch cyber team couldn’t even trace them. Despite my anger, I had to admire Riley’s talent. They clearly knew their craft. If they hadn’t been against us, I’d have hired them myself. Now, I was even more curious and driven to catch them. Their skills were unrivaled, and if left unchecked, they could take us down. I wasn’t going to let that happen. “So what did Jeremy say exactly?” I asked. “Jeremy had been trying to track Riley for years. He found out Riley is a girl, probably from the South Coast,” Jake replied.

Riley woke up and got ready. She threw on a pair of dark blue denim jeans with a white tank top and a black blazer with a pair of black heels. She wanted to look more business casual. She threw her hair up in a sleek ponytail and applied minimal makeup. She looked in the mirror. This was it. This was her first assignment. She felt she looked the part. Hopefully, she wouldn't fall too behind in her end of year assignments. However, she was sure she could work online from the other pack. Riley then grabbed her bags and headed to the pack house.

It seems like I've only noticed Eash all this time and forgotten to notice other people; Riley sighed inwardly. "You know about me, right?" Riley wasn't sure if she should agree to what Liam was proposing. She had never thought of any other man except Eash. All her dreams, desires, and expectations had been tightly tied to Eash, not anyone else. Even after witnessing Eash's disappointing behaviour, Riley wasn't ready to move on. However, at this moment, she had some doubts she needed to clear. Everyone at school ignored, humiliated, or pitied her because of her late transformation. In a situation like this, why would Liam want to date her? Riley couldn't figure it out.

Maps sprawled across the table, pins marking the latest sightings of werewolf scouts. “She isn’t coming,” Carrow muttered. “She’s coming,” I said. “How can you be sure?” “Because I told her not to be late.” And right on cue, the doors banged open. Carrow went the color of overcooked meat.

“Rachel was saying her husband came home as drenched as you were. She said even he had the same hollow look in his eyes. Said they took a while to get the last three but that it looked like a war zone.” “The rain definitely didn’t help. It was like buckets of water were just being poured out.” I took another bite of sandwich. “It’s been a while since we have had an attack that large. We were lucky no one got hurt.” My eyes cast down. “Yeah.” “Desmond, what is going on with you?”

Raven "Listen Riley. You wanted me to give you a chance and I did and I am saying that I don't feel anything for you. I never committed to you. We never got physical and I am not emotionally attached to you. You are a good man but I don't have feelings for you." Riley "You are lying." He was shouting and everyone Started looking at us. Raven "Why are you creating a scene here? " Riley "You really care about that? I mean you ditched me." He was talking loudly. Raven "Shut up Riley. Don't create a scene here." But he didn't care. Riley "Listen up everyone. This is Miss Raven Parker. The only child of a successful businessman and industrialist. She has a hobby of ditching boys. Bloody bitch."

I wanted to tell her that even if this woman was beautiful, her beauty was nothing compared to hers. "I apologize for being late, I just came from a charity event," she said as she sat down beside Atticus. She must be the Luna.
