As one made their way towards the center, where the residence rooms were located, the number of guards decreased significantly. In this central room, there were only Liriene, her two female followers, and a burly bodyguard named Watson. Upon their arrival, Watson ushered Ravyn and Zamonte inside, leading them to a woman dressed in a white lacy suit and sporting sunglasses, holding back her front hair like a hairpin.

The dawn after the Hollow of Thorns burned cold and gray. Mist blanketed the peaks, winding down through the forest like ghostly fingers.
