I turned my head to the voice behind and saw Rhyker, glaring coldly at the guard who gulped nervously. "I'm sorry, your royal highness." He bowed down, just like the other guard who was trying his best to not laugh. "She's a special guest to me, if you ever see her then let her inside. Is that clear?" He ordered to both of the guards, they nodded frantically. Rhyker took my arm while those two opened the door for him, we got inside of his luxury office, I gasped in fascination as I saw the big aquarium outside and a pool inside his office.

“Prioritize families with kids and anyone who can’t shift.” They turned a corner, passing heavy steel doors already propped open. The shelters weren’t pretty—stripped-down rooms with emergency lighting and stocked shelves—but they were secure. Reinforced during the rebuild, deep enough to hold. As she paused at one of the storage units, she heard soft footsteps behind her. Mira approached, her laptop hugged against her chest. “Got a minute?” she asked. Doctor Rin muttered with a sigh. When Doctor Rin came out of the elevator door, she suddenly saw Mr. Ryan in front of her. Luckily, Mr. Ryan was talking to one of his subordinates so he didn't notice Doctor Rin's presence. Deftly, Doctor Rin immediately hid behind a wall. “Hoshh.. Hosh...” Her heart was beating fast. She almost got hurt. Doctor Rin peeked from behind the wall and he saw Mr. Ryan had entered the elevator. After feeling safe, Doctor Rin continued his steps to get out of the GM Healthcare building.

“Elaine.” “Arsel.” My father, connected from Eclipse, covered his mouth to hide what was probably a smile. Mom looked up at the ceiling, and Kiel suddenly found a tablet fascinating. “Five minutes,” I said. Elaine crossed her arms. “Four.” I led her into a side office and closed the door. “That shelter is the most secure place in Crescent,” I said before she could speak. “It has Alpha blood barriers, internal guards, and an emergency exit leading to Eclipse.”

She offers a warm, maternal smile, but I simply track her with a dead, unreadable stare until she finally steps out.
