Caged Pheonix

Caged Pheonix

Present “That day, I decided to raise you like Jasmine's mom raised me. I thought I became this rebellious because she never loved me like she loved Jasmine. I grew up in an environment that made me live a better life for myself. I became selfish because of that woman. So I raised you making you feel like you're the only one on whom you can rely. But no matter how hard I tried, you never complained. I wanted to raise you to be selfish and strong, but you...”

Rise from Fire and Steel

But by then, I had already let go of everything. My form had gone completely transparent, ready for the next chapter. Ahead of me lay a path bright and open. My passion would never fade, my devotion would outlive even after my final breath.

The Phoenix Heiress

The Phoenix Heiress

I stepped in close, close enough to feel the tension in her shoulders. “It’s not another woman’s name,” I said. “It’s Old Norse. Brenna means ‘to burn.’” She raised an eyebrow, skeptical. “So I’m fire now?” I nodded once. “You’re more than fire. You’re a phoenix. You burned. You broke. And you rose again. That bastard tried to turn you to ash, and you came back stronger.” Her mouth parted, but she didn’t speak. I kept going. “I didn’t give you that name because it was pretty. I gave it to you because it’s truth. You’re not someone I saved. You’re someone who survived.”

Replaced by His First Love

Replaced by His First Love

The heart of Ash Valley didn’t just burn—it dissolved, melting the air and scorching the very souls of those who dared stand within it. Ozone and sulfur clawed at Phoenix’s lungs, each inhalation a knife. She stood atop the jagged obsidian dais, three blackened scrolls vibrating violently in her hands, humming like predators circling unseen prey. Below, molten magma glowed with a brutal red, the ash above igniting into ember-like stars, falling as though the sky itself was bleeding.

The Hybrid

The Hybrid

I laid in the bedroom while studying Phoenixs’ old school books. I practiced a few small spells and while trying a light spell but next thing I knew...boom! Phoenix opened the door and coughed from the smoke, “Selene, what are you doing?” He coughed out, I looked at him from my spot on the bed; when the smoke cleared, Phoenix stared at me then started laughing,

Rise of the Bloodstone King

Rise of the Bloodstone King

He asked, looking up at me, his brow arching. "Yeah, I can feel it, but Cedric did say it would respond to the royal bloodline. Maybe it isn't specific to the which bloodline." I explained, turning my attention back to my mate. Alora traced the images that had been carved into the wood, her brows pinching together. "From fire and ashes, a Phoenix shall rise," Alora whispered. "You can read that?" I asked, tilting my head as I watched her. She looked up at me through her lashes.

I’ve read the first three again and am reading dark promises again and the author has been working to this point from book one. Strongly recommend reading them all directly after each other so you can really see how brilliantly it is put together. Will read this in one go once completed

The fifth and final book of the Bloodstone series had a lot to over come and so far it has gone beyond what I expected. This author is truly amazing, there were so many things I didn’t realize were tied into this book and I love seeing all the pieces coming together. Can’t wait to see how it ends!

COME TO ME

COME TO ME

My last line of defence. With her summons, lights shot up from the cracks of the floor, and from the ashes of the golden web rose a burning white phoenix. It towered menacingly over the mist before diving into the centre of the mist, clawing and gnawing at it. The fiery white phoenix fought ferociously to devour the mist and for a moment, it seemed to Susanne that victory was at hand. She took the opportunity to slip out from the protection of her hurricane to retrieve a semi-conscious Tom.

Xue Yun also shared some melon seeds with her host. "Oh, isn't he the second male lead and the most enthusiastic pursuer of Fang Qingfei?
