Madam Amelia seemed to know this as she nodded her head at me. “Now what? You can’t break your vow. What will you do? You can’t have a Wolf Rider running around Astoria.” There it was. She knew what her daughter was. The half human part of it was the least of it. The fact that she was a Rider—a creature that could control a werewolf with a simple command. I say finally coming to out of my trance of Rylin's body consuming my mind. "I guess that's what Alpha Rylin's trying to find out now?" I stare out towards the pillars,"What's going to happen to them after he gets his answers? They're already Rouges what else could you do to them?" Hazel shifts her eyes toward the ground and her head down. If she was in her wolf form her tail would be tucked between her legs, you could tell she feared what was coming to them. "Nothing good, considering who they were after."

That’s what she does.” “She knows,” Risa blurted before she could stop herself. “Maybe not everything, but—she knows.” Hale leaned in close, so close she could see the faint scars running along his jaw, the kind only warwolves carried. His voice was soft. “Then give her a reason to doubt herself.” Risa’s stomach twisted. “I don’t—” “You want to live?” he interrupted, eyes flashing. “Then you’ll give me something she can’t carry alone. Something that splits her from Cael. Or I’ll cut my losses.”

I watched Rhyker standing behind the counter and flipped the scrambled eggs with his pan, he was shirtless and wore a white apron with black joggers. He had one particular tattoo on the back of his neck, it's a drawing of a crown, the crown of Rosla. He whistled while making scrambled eggs. "Are you awake Hemilia? I'm sorry I wasn't in our bed, I wanted to make breakfast for you." He said not looking at me, I gawked at his strong and broad back that is able to give comforting hugs from him. "What's the special occasion?" I chuckled and walked toward him, he turned around and smiled.

Rizor yells. At that moment Klara and Ri run back into the cave. Rizor begins to levitate and red essence emanates from his form and his eyes turn red. Kyra breaks her concentration and the entire cave shakes. "I'm done playing these games!" He yells and then he aims a ball of light at Ri.

Drake growled. Suddenly, his eyes turned red; he was fuming mad as he transformed. He runs towards the rouge, who transforms into a werewolf and mercilessly scratches his back. He wasn’t contented; he attacked the rouge, and then Drake beheaded the rouge until it transformed into a human, lying on the ground, lifeless. They fought the other rouge and howled angrily. “That’s for poisoning my stray!” Drake gritted his teeth as he beheaded them all. Beta Dillon picked up the poison's antidote and gave it to the alpha.

When Alpha Ryker was attacking Rizine back, Rizine's wound immediately heal because of the ability to cure herself that was given by the Moon Goddess to her. Alpha Ryker and Rizine began to attack each other aggressively. No one dares to stop them, and they both hurt each other.

I want to show Xavier that I can win if I try or want to. As we fought, I spotted an opening in her defenses. Adrenaline surged through me as I delivered a decisive blow, sending her stumbling backward. The crowd gasped, and for a moment, time seemed to freeze. I followed up with one last strike, and Riza went down. Applause erupted around me as I stood there, catching my breath. I couldn't help but feel proud—not as royalty, but as a fighter who earned her win. My eyes searched the crowd until they landed on Xavier. To my disappointment, he wasn't smiling. If anything, he looked angrier than ever.

She attempted to say something but a force threw her head back so that she was facing the moon, while her hands were spread apart like a sacrifice. Then it happened. She erupted into smoke and nothing was left behind except her black dress designed for mourning. Just like that, Riza was gone. She tried to break the oath and it killed her. Zezi sank into her throne, the crown on her head felt heavy, and the pressure that rested on her shoulders threatened to tear them down as she realized the extent of trouble she was in. She had thought her relationship with the White Circle was one of equal power, or at least one in which she had the upper hand.
