The Element Wolves
The smoky aroma of charred hickory and seasoned ribs hung heavy in the air, a welcome relief from the clinical smell of the war room.
Over by the pit, the lead training warrior was waving a metal spatula like a broadsword, pointing it directly at the tactical leader's chest.
"I'm telling you, it's all in the flip!" the training warrior bellowed, his loud laughter booming over the sizzle of the meat. "You treat a ribeye like a tactical retreat, and you ruin the damn steak!"
The tactical leader snorted, clinking his heavy glass of amber ale against the trainer's apron. "I don't retreat, my friend. I merely reposition the heat. And my steaks are legendary."
