Her blue translucent orbs were darkened with the shadow of gloom that seized her heart.

It was just him and her now. “Hey Zach, How are You?” Sabrina spoke using her cute girly voice while tucking some of her golden locks behind her ear as a girl act, hoping that it would somehow attract Zach and fell for her scheme. “It's not working Sabrina now let's get to the Real thing.” Said Zach while dropping some papers on the table, looking at her with a smirk. I knew who it was just by the sound of her voice: Bianca. “Don’t worry,” I heard her whispering. “She’s a wolfless, so she’ll be easy to deceive. Maybe he just needed someone fertile.” “I gave you everything, Sabrina. I paid your rent and got you into events. I even introduced you to him as my best friend—”

Something hot and ugly twisted in my chest. "That's Victor Montgomery," Sabrina said quietly, following my gaze. "One of Evangeline's clients. I'd been hoping to speak with him tonight." Before I could respond, she was already standing, moving toward their table with graceful confidence. I followed, my jaw tight. "Victor! What a coincidence." Sabrina's smile was warm, professional. "And Evangeline. Lovely to see you." Evangeline's expression cooled immediately. "Sabrina. Dashiell."
