The neon sign outside “THE FULL MOON” bar flickered with a buzzing sound that usually meant a bulb was about to explode, but inside the air was a scent of cheap whiskey, expensive cigar smoke, and the musky pheromones of filthy restless werewolves. “My name is ROXY” I stood backstage, leaning against a peeling locker watching Jax, adjust his glittery thong in the mirror. Jax was my best friend. “Just a little here, and yup that’s it” He chuckled while dusting gold shimmers onto his pecs.

I look past him to make sure no one else is in the parking lot that can see us. “Alright Rocky. It’s your turn.” I give him the signal to come forward. “Try not to scare him too much, okay?” I prepare myself as I feel the familiar sensation of my teeth growing and my fingernails turning into claws. I let myself fall back just enough to let Rocky take control. When he looks up with his pitch black eyes, Jasper’s face looks like all the blood has drained from his body. “Say something, Rocky!” I urge him on. “Hi, I’m Rocky.” His deep, gravelly voice fills the car. He holds his hand out for Jasper to shake, but Jasper freezes like a statue. “Uh… boo?”

Roxy sassed, walking like a badass bitch ready for some fight and the way the music got louder indicated that a fight is going to break. " Does he know why we came here?" He asked again to be sure and clear. He doesn't want to be on the blind side and ruin whatever they are planning. " Maybe!" Rob said before launching himself on the man and punching him without stopping his hand the music seemed to get louder with his punches and at the same time men surrounded the three of them. " You take five and I take five," Roxy said to Ricardo before launching herself on a man twice her size and taking him down within a minute. She runs and punches like a bullet train surprising Ricardo.

Ford continues. The question is, do I want to stay here with Roxy like this forever?

"Is that in my favor?" I couldn’t believe I was inside a bathroom, talking to myself in front of the mirror, because of the bad Rockstar who took my virginity, asked me to spend more nights with him, but not man enough to stand up for his words. And was I really now asking for him to be true to his words? "You're starting to get crazy, Meredith Kaye." Annoyed, I hit the mirror in front of me before expelling a heavy breath. This bad Rockstar was really driving me crazy. I had to get my mind straight. This is not me. Inhale. Exhale. I need to remove him from my mind. I'm so done.

Radio was playing, Tyler and Jack deep in conversation and I was just starting out the window. Just then a song started playing. Lately, I've been, I've been thinking I want you to be happier I want you to be happier Tyler and Jack stopped talking and looked at me. "What?" I asked them. "This song always hits you. I wanna know why," Jack said. I sighed. "We're waiting," Tyler said. "I, sang this song to Roxy. On her sixteenth birthday. Just before we resorted to crime. I was meant to take the journey alone but she insisted on joining me. All I wanted, was to make her happier."

This shot punches through one of Pink Bunny’s plastic eyes, shattering it, and the furry flops backward, gun clattering to the pavement. Angry Fox spins and yanks the trigger of his rifle, so violently that the barrel jerks up and the first burst clatters over the Mountain’s head. Big Jim pivots on his heel and fires three times at Angry Fox, but the shots sing wide, cracking the rear window of a mini-car.

I don’t like the look on her face. “That was Gabby.” She tells me. “Ok,” I reply. “I am guessing she was the woman here with hottie #1 and hottie #2.” I say to her. “Yes, she is the assistant to Brady, hottie #2. They manage the band Crazy.” Evie explains. I know who that band. They are one of the biggest rock bands. I have been a fan since they released their first album five years ago. I look at her. I am not sure why she is smiling at me.

“What’s up her ass today?” Troy laughs next to him, spinning his drumsticks between his fingers. “Does Monica ever not have a stick up her ass?” I shake my head at the two of them, letting them continue their banter as I adjust my guitar and imagine firing Monica for the umpteenth time in my life. Just as I focus back on my guitar, playing some of chords to the song we’ll be working on, the rest of the band walks through the studio doors. My band consists of the best of the best. Troy on the drums, Poe on bass, Luke on rhythm, Landon on keys as well as various other instruments. Then we have my backup vocalists: Josh, Elton, and Leo.
