Mary went and sat on a small rock, clearly indicating that she had no intention of helping.
"Why didn't he meet us outside?" Nat grumbled, searching for the moveable rock that could cover a cave.
"Because then the cave will be in plain sight," he replied, rolling his eyes.
"Maybe it's not a huge rock that covers the cave. Maybe it's a pebble — a small one and moving it will automatically open the cave. Must be modern machinery or witchcraft," I muttered, looking for a different kind of rock.
The only one that stood out was a lone, small rock — the one Mary was sitting on. "That." I pointed at it.
