I look at Teagan, but all I can see is her hardened expression on her face. “You try to cross me. I will reunite you both in hell. You betray me, you betray the family. I will kill you, Rosena. So what will it be?” I see her hand tighten on the handle of the door. “I will never betray you, Teagan. You are my only family.” She looks up at her and Teagan scrutinises her every movement. She leans down and looks her in the eyes. “Say it again!” she says through gritted teeth. Right there is my tiger, but she is something more now. She is more dangerous. Her claws and teeth are sharper and deadly than they were before.

“I’ve never met one like her. But it’s not a surprise, given who her mother is.” Kat stilled. She shouldn’t pry, but her curiosity got the better of her. “Her mother?” “Oh, you wouldn’t know, would you? Teagan, her mother, she was famous around this town when those two were younger. Teagan asks from beside me scaring the living daylights out of me. I stare at her wide eyed. “Jesus why are you still here?” I ask. “Aiden did you catfish this girl?” She asks loudly. I shake my head. “Jesus no. We don’t know each other’s first names. She hasn’t told me her first time either. I know her as Teigan and she knows me as Craig. We’ve talked since we were teenagers as friends.” I explain. She nods. “So you’ve never met?” she asks. I nod. “Yes we’ve never met face to face. We haven’t even exchanged pictures of one another. We’ve been talking for almost seventeen years. She grew up with me. She was there for me when I felt like I was alone...” I gesture toward the house.

I was with you.” Teagan snaps her head towards me and lets her go. “She was with you while my daughter was being beaten and raped!” Oh shit. She storms to me and punches me. Foxy is a fucking liar. Yeagen frowned as he said to Teagan, "Whatever! Let's just stop trying to communicate with an idiot. Why do we need to tell him anything? Who does he think he is?" Fane sighed slightly before he started to laugh, looking at them with unbridled mockery. At that moment Teagan could no longer remain calm! Yeagen could not even stop him.
