When the Luna Died

When the Luna Died

My soul floated above the room as I watched the scene unfold. Vincent's shoulders were shaking hard. He let out a sound like a wounded animal. Even his wolf was crying over the death of its Luna. I didn't know how long had passed before Vivian's voice broke the silence from the doorway. "Do you even want to know how she died?" Vincent lifted his head. His eyes were bloodshot, like they were about to bleed. Vivian walked in holding a sheet of paper. It was a healer's report.

MY EX-HUSBAND'S BROTHER

MY EX-HUSBAND'S BROTHER

"Richard sent us something. Before he died." "How? He was in prison." "Lawyers can arrange anything if you pay them enough." We took the USB drive to Vincent's house. His computer had better security than ours. Vincent inserted the drive. A video file appeared. I clicked play. Richard's face filled the screen. Gaunt. Gray. Dying. "Hello, Evelyn. Hello, Benjamin. If you are watching this, I am dead. Good. I deserve death. But before I go, I need to tell you something. Something I never told anyone."

All Of Us Are Dead

All Of Us Are Dead

Maybe they wanted us strong enough to keep playing. To suffer longer. The thought made me lose my appetite halfway through my plate. I pushed it away and leaned back, staring at the blinking light. Across from me, the redhead was eating slow, her eyes glazed. The boy beside her muttered something about home under his breath. And hoodie guy… he was still eating like nothing about this was wrong. I couldn’t decide if that made him brave or just completely insane. Probably both. When the plates finally emptied, the table sank slowly back into the floor, taking the dishes with it. Like it had never been there.

PROTECTING MAFIA'S BABIES

PROTECTING MAFIA'S BABIES

Before I could ask how things had been over here, Vincent had already begun to fill me in with all that had happened. “We'll talk tomorrow,” I said to Vincent as he kept filling me in on what happened in the residence, office, and the underground. I didn't want to hear all those. I just wanted to know about Grace and Helen, and he was done telling me that. We can both go to sleep now. “How about Raphael?” My eyes immediately scanned the environment before it finally landed on Vincent. Grace must not know about the name, let alone about what happened. “Dead and gone. Raphael's talk should end here and now also” I ordered and he nodded

kidnapped by the mafia

kidnapped by the mafia

I tried to speak with her but she was laying on top of Gio shaking. I shot a man and he fell on the floor dead. Suddenly all the sounds stopped. I came out of my hiding spot and looked around. Dead bodies covered the ground. I walked over them trying desperately to see anyone of my friends. "Violet!" I nearly cried when I saw Vin, a white cloth- now red- around his hand. "Vincenzo, is it over?" I yelled walking towards him. "The building will blow up in 30 seconds." He said.

What a great story. I loved the characters, their interaction, as they become a family and the store line in general. The plot twists keep you turning the page! It’s a beautiful story that you hope never ends,

Well written novel from beginning to end. Did not disappoint in any ways, the story build up was very well played & never a dull moment. Just when you think you got it, you don’t there was a whole mystery without even knowing it. A few grammar errors but can’t complain. It’s a must read

Please Love Me, Again!

Please Love Me, Again!

That’s why I knew his name. Boman went pale and almost ran in that direction. My phone started ringing in my hand again. It was Vincent. I sighed and took the call. “Where are you?” he asked me firmly. “At the rooftop. We….. we have a dead body here.” I told him in a low voice. “Stay there.” He instructed me and hung up. “There is more than one, right?” Ryan asked me in a grim and low voice. “Yes. The other one was across the road.” I replied to him, still noticing Boman’s movements.

Shadows Of The Dark Heart

Shadows Of The Dark Heart

Vincent watched his expression unreadable, almost calm as Ritik’s panic tripped into desperation. Adrian leaned closer, gloved hand tightening on Ritik’s jaw. “Easy,” he murmured. “You asked for water, remember?” Vincent lifted the bottle slightly, letting the yellow liquid swirl. Adrian tightened his grip on Ritik’s jaw, forcing his head up. Bones cracked under the pressure, weak bones that could barely hold the skull attached. Vincent lands slowly, bringing himself eye-level with Ritik. Then Ritik saw it. The bottle in Vincent ’s hand and the liquid inside is clear and deadly.

However, there was so many options that my small plate was full as we walked back to the boys. “Hungry?” Vincent looked over at my plate. He tried to grab the steak thing from my plate, but I slapped away his hand. “That’s a good way to get your balls punched in.” Vincent grimaced. “That wouldn’t be nice.” He smirked at me but did back away from my plate. “So, Vincent. You don’t have a mate?” Roxie asked as she took a bite. Everyone looked at her awkwardly but kept their mouths shut, wanting to hear the answer.

Every single book I read from Mrs. Smith is AMAZING! Secrets of the Luna is no exception. Her writing makes the story fly by too fast! What I LOVE is you become part of the story, and to me, that's a sign she's a great author.
Mila
Love the book although the plot is just a repetition of Tattooed Luna with a few differences. Same storylines… FL with complicated childhood being hunted down by villain with Mafia ties and overprotective brother is also in the mix. Just too similar in my view. But enjoyable nonetheless.

*BANG* "CALEB!!" Vincent flinched hard when he heard a gunshot followed by Leon's scream. He immediately turned to his left only to see Caleb lying on the ground. Leon quickly crouched down and shook his shoulders but it was of no use as he was dead as a door nail. Suddenly another gunshot echoed and targeted Mr. Taylor. He immediately died. Vincent was befuddled. He instantly shot his head up only to be left shocked. Rosaline was standing on her feet while pointing the gun at him.

Rose kept chanting about Self respect and Self-esteem but I feel like she is so pathetic she just forgive him just like that no struggle and all the ending could be a little better it's feels so pathetic and unfair
