He released an extreme breath and slowly turned around the one-eighty degree. To his surprise, Porter was already standing a few steps in front of him, showing some extreme aggression. He opened his mouth showing the sharpened fangs and scratched his claws to the tiles to create a poaching sound. With his terrifying eyes, Roger was frozen. His body suddenly weakened as his knees and hands were trembling harmoniously accompanied by his dribbling heart.

The royals were still mingling and discussing when I finally spotted Roger. He was standing near the grand archway, speaking with another man, shaking hands. I didn’t stop to think. I ran straight into him, crashing into his chest. “Please, help me!” I gasped, gripping his arm like it was the only thing keeping me. “They’ll find me! Please!” Roger growled fiercely and drew me behind him, his hair was on end and his teeth began to elongated. I could see the signs of his transformation. “What’s going on?” he growled wildly, “Who’s after you?”

Roger laughs as well and puts his arm around my shoulder when his wolf dashes off towards mine. “Told you he was annoying,” Roger murmurs. “He’s perfect,” I reply, sighing and turning my face up to his for a kiss. But before our lips can meet, my wolf gives another little yip, calling us forward. Confused, but pleased, Roger and I start out again. “I have no idea what is happening,” Roger says, grinning.

Rabbit could not wait to put Roger down and show off his power. He would never let anyone go if he could help it. “How dare you?!” Roger snapped, shocked to hear someone humiliating him and the lark people. The guards stared at this scene in disbelief. “You’re dead.” Roger glared at Rabbit with dissatisfaction before turning his gaze to Philip. In his opinion, Rabbit was Philip's pet, so everything was Philip’s fault. “Hehe, Philip, huh? Let’s see how powerful you are.” Roger nodded to the people around him. The next moment, a black mist shrouded them.

Claws extended, I swiped at Roger, but he sidestepped and landed a solid blow to my chest. The impact sent me stumbling backward. Seizing the moment, Roger pinned me to the ground. His strength is on another whole different level entirely. "Your reign is over, Little Rascal," Roger sneered, his hot breath on my face. "The Whitewater pack will be free, and you will be the one enslaved in death." With a surge of adrenaline, I tried to break free, but Roger's grip was unyielding—his strength was overwhelming compared to mine. "You don't think you'll be able to defeat me, do you?" he asked, part of his face shifting into wolf form, just like mine.

The rabbit’s fur ripples, light flaring brighter around its small form.
