The rabbit caught my eye again, Cory must be hungry. And with that thought, I lunged, grabbing the rabbit as I snapped its neck in two. We were already here, there was nothing that I could do to change that, all that I needed to do now was listen. Try to understand where he was coming from, and figure out how to sort through this. I didn’t go back immediately, I needed to do a quick scout around to be sure we wouldn’t have unexpected visits. The rogues were dead, but if one thing I knew was right, there was only a calm before the storm comes.

Not when we can save her! Conor stepped up behind Roger and placed his hand on his right shoulder leaning down to Roger’s left ear. “Don’t ever say that again. I’ll rip your tongue out next time.” Roger lost some of the coloring in his face while Joanne snickered lightly under her breath at the horrified look on Roger’s face. Roger shrank out of fear next to Conor. “Yes Majesty.” He whispered quietly. Conor grabbed the sack and another tray and started pulling out each set of muscles.

His voice had uncertainty, as if he wasn’t sure what he saw. “A bunny?” My eyes fluttered open, and my gaze went to where he was staring. He was right. There was a cute, little, fuzzy white rabbit staring at us. What was a rabbit doing in The Intertwine? It was odd. A place that was the home of monsters was also the home of an innocent bunny rabbit? How come? The little creature hopped towards me, and a low growl rumbled in Raphael’s chest. He pulled me behind him, blocking me from it.

He'd been outside with Gabby getting his luggage from his vehicle when Gabby had cleared his throat, nudge him and said "Hey Roger, look over there" Roger was still feeling annoyed from his drive here and the way the Luna had looked at him but he had moved his eyes off in the direction Gabby was indicating and lo and behold there she was "the mutt" he had murmured, he'd come here get a rematch from was walking towards a playground, he'd been about to head off after her when he realized she was heading right towards the girls playing in the playground, twins he noted.

The bunny saw it too and swiped its paws and the snake’s head fell as it was cut into two. “Move faster, mutt!” The rabbit yelled at the chipmunk. “Or let me carry Rose!” “You wish!” The chipmunk says and started running quicker and ahead of the rabbit. I squinted my eyes as something appeared in front of us. Is that a lever? Maybe that lever can put a stop to all of this madness.

I exclaim as I notice a huge fat rabbit hopping off to another trail that disappears in a thick forest . "I see it but we are not going that trail Bloom ,"my wolf refuses. "C'mon ! Let's just try ,"I whine trying to convince my wolf . "Fine ,"she agrees with a sigh and we slowly slip away and follow the rabbit . I run through the thick bushes as it hops to only god knows where. It disappears into a thick hole that has a steep slope . "I think we should turn back now ,"my wolf gives up . "Yeah it does look dangerous ,"I agree peering down the slope looking at the thick white rabbit .

The arrow’s point gleamed, wicked and sharp, as he lifted it, weighing its balance, feeling the potential for death in its edge. His eyes narrowed, finding his target through the window. Beyond the glass, the rain made the world a blur, but Roger’s gaze never wavered. A rabbit, small and shivering beneath the awning, its fur plastered to its skin by the downpour. Innocent. Helpless. Roger drew the string back, his muscles coiled like a predator ready to strike. One breath. Two. Three.... A knock echoed through the room. He cursed under his breath, releasing the string but not the tension coiled in his shoulders.

Sure enough, the cases of rabbit-women swallowing the bloodstones saw a huge decline. I returned to my room. Recalling Rebecca's words, I snuffed out the spices burning on the table. For some reason, I thought being a rabbit-woman wasn't the great thing it was chalked up to be. At that moment, Mom entered the room. She frowned when she saw that the spices had stopped burning. "Everly, why aren't the spices burning?" I rubbed my stomach. "The smell of the spices makes me hungry, Mom. We don't have much food in the house, to begin with. I ought to eat less."

I taunted with a hint of smugness, "But you and your wolf were unable to let go so you must be turning rogue. Is that why you want to kill Maisie? For ruining your worthless life?" "SHUT THE HELL UP!" Roger emerged from the kitchen with a deafening roar as he threw another knife without a second thought. However, he didn't seem to anticipate my change of location as I had expected so I lunged at him with my fists swinging. My knuckles collided with his jaw as soon as he turned, causing him to stagger a bit before he countered with a knee to my gut.

I was shuffling in the bushes behind me, and I turned immediately, my back to the rock face. The rogues emerged from the buses shortly after, their eyes gleaming with fury and hunger. I braced myself for the end, pressing my back against the rough stone wall of the cliff. The leader of the rogues, the one who had tormented me the most, stepped forward, his eyes burning with a sinister light. “Thought you could run from me, little rabbit?” he sneered, his voice a low growl. “Did you really think you could escape?” I glared at him, trying to muster every ounce of defiance I had left. “I’ll never be your pet,” I spat, my voice hoarse from the pain and exhaustion.
