The bigger of the two Rogues spoke, licking his lips watching me slowly back up. "I would watch how you speak to our future Queen." Nate said through gritted teeth. He wanted to rip the man’s throat out for even implying he would touch me. "Now, now, little alpha boy, the three of you are no match for us, but if you like to give it a go then come on then." The man taunted, waving them to come fight him. His partner chuckled next to him. They were consider Rogues by the kingdom standards, but not by the goddess. A true Rogue was a lone wolf with no pack that lost his humanity. I could tell these wolves belonged to no pack, but they weren't feral.

Thanks to the condition that the late late late late king, the war towards the wolves and rogues comes to an end. The Rogues were also able to build a small town of two hundred wolves. They may be small, but don't underestimate them; each Rogue can fight five Kingdom warriors. They are so powerful that their god granted them a blessing as well. Esmeth's sister also blessed the kingdom's people so that they could fight them. Making the two races engage in an endless war.

I put what I am doing to the side and gestured for him to take a seat. "Owen, I need to talk to you about something. I do not want you to take offense, but it's about rogues." I nod. Rogues often give packs trouble; somehow, I am an exception. Probably because I attempt to communicate with the wolf packs and live on neutral territory, it probably also helps that they come to my club. That is why I said that the werewolf treatment of rogues is a problem. Often, wolves who have gone rogue to escape a bad situation and are seeking shelter, are killed or imprisoned simply because they are rogues. Ugh. This annoys me so much. Innocent people are killed because of herd mentality. Why can’t the pack wolves see that some rogues are not bad?

“Just take my word for it. Aethelgarde may not be the best sometimes, but it looks like heaven compared to some of the other places out there.” Adira just nodded, accepting Braxton’s answer and his clear desire to move on from the topic. “So, we need to cross Aethelgarde with nowhere to stay, no supplies and a group of guards searching for us who are pretty likely to kill us on sight. Sounds like fun.” Braxton smirked mischievously, “Don’t tell me you’re afraid of a little adventure, Red.”

To bad he would not be able to help me escape, he must be loyal to his Alpha or he would be kicked out of the pack and end up turning rogue. Which meant no leader and other packs kill rogue on sight due to their lawlessness and no loyalty. They are like rodents eating your vegetables in the garden. No one liked rogues. Funny enough that is what I was, my brother and parents. We had to leave our pack behind because of Alpha Keeram, many packs feared him. Unfortunately mine was one of them, my Alpha Jake feared him so much so, that he was going to hand me over like a present. That's why we had no other choice but to go rogue and hide.

From what I know, rogues are cursed wolves and they do not have special abilities equivalent to actual wolves but are equally dangerous.. but good thing about them.. you don’t need silver to kill them. “Do you have some?” I asked since he wasn’t saying anything but looking at me like a prey. My heart beat loudly for a moment there but I had to keep my composure and focus.
