The crowd gasped again. I staggered, confused and stunned. Banished. That was still death—but slower. No one ever returned from Blackmoor. There were no food there, no warmth and no mercy. He started walking towards me. His steps were slow, deliberate. I looked at him, and hatred burned through me. When he got to me, he bent down — so low only I could hear. “You pathetic fool,” he whispered. “You thought love meant anything? You really thought I’d ruin my fucking life for a dirty omega?” He chuckled low. “You were so easy. All it took was a few words. A few touches. And you gave me everything.”

A Rogue. A Rogue is a werewolf without a pack. They often kill any werewolf they encounter; may it be a member of a pack or a similar rogue, like them. They are vicious plunderers. Eyes glowing molten gold, burning with something fierce… and broken. The rogue alpha. His long coat fluttered in the breeze as he stared down at the distant lights of the city. The scent of Elaina still lingered on the wind—wildflower and power. “She’s awakening…” he murmured, jaw clenched, claws flexing at his sides.

I mind-link him as the female fighting me also stops in her tracks. The male werewolf lunges himself at Rory, aiming for his chest. “Rory!” I scream at him to move, to defend himself but he was still frozen, along with the girl. I push him out the way just before the male can reach him. The rogue falls to the ground, his face hitting the grass ground. I move with speed, jumping on his back and regretfully breaking his spine. He won’t recover from that. “Hong?” I push on the mind-link.

I mumbled softly and he furrowed his brow and nodded. "I'll tell him to drive back then," he said and headed towards the door. Flora told him no that he could stay with her and I cocked my brow at her. Rogue grinned happily and opened the door to a pink haired man with a sinewy build and light green eyes. He looked at Rogue, me and then grinned at Flora. "This is Xander Louis, my familiar. Xander, this is my mate I told you about and her familiar, Flora," he said.

I had never believed in the moon goddess, but I think now, I do. “You bastard!” Yelled in rage by the member, “You promised to stay out of our sight once you get the goods!” Creed shrugged, “Ah, I forgot to mention, I never take my words seriously.” The male instantly lunged forward, and I didn’t know if it was his way of showing he was not scared but he did not match Creed’s strength as one attack and he was on the ground. “That was easy.” He commented, “Ravena, go and get their goods.”
