Ronan’s forehead pressed to hers, his voice a broken rasp. “You scare me.”
She blinked, breathless, lips swollen. “I scare you?”
“Because I’d follow you anywhere,” he admitted, raw, teeth gritted, as if the words cut to speak.
Something cracked open in her chest.
Her hand trembled when she cupped his face. “Then don’t stop.”
He kissed her again, and it was all claws and fire and need. Teeth clashed. Their wolves screamed. The world shrank to nothing but this.
