Romantic date?" I sighed and stopped spinning, facing my laptop and visiting a bookstore's site to see what books sell. Ah, of course, my book wouldn't be in the top 10, and I didn't hope so; what's staring back at me is the top 10 best-selling books for the week, where five of ten are Erotic Romance books. "And I thought my company wouldn't be like other companies who are after profit; I was wrong. Then again, business is business."

I asked, looking down at her. “Yes wait no. I mean no.” Elena answered, shaking her head rapidly looking back up for a few seconds then back down folding the clothes. “Alright then.” I said leaving the topic at that and started to pick up the books and place them in the box. She had a lot of books. Mostly books about romance and a few about dark romance.There were also a few school books about biology, astrophysics, chemistry, physics and engineering etcetera. “Miss Romano.” Elena called out.

Noah says with a sheepish smile. “You helping out a friend?” I ask him, discreetly hoping and not sure why I would want to know who he was getting the books for. “You could call her that.” Noah says with a shrug. A girlfriend. It's a good thing it's none of my business. “What kind of novels has she been reading in the past?” I ask, allowing my feet to lead me subconsciously to the romance aisle. “Romance.” Noah says and after further thinking, he adds, “with lots of smut scenes.”

She chuckled, rising up, “Give it back. I really have to complete it today.” “Is it some kind of challenge?” I stared at the book in my hands which contained not less than hundreds of chapters. It was a little heavy, but the cover was quite attractive. It was a dark romance book, the kind where the male lead is aggressive and cold. Reading a book like this gives me the chills, but Kiera here is a stark contrast to me.
