She glanced over expecting Marco back with his part bag. It wasn't Marco. Roman walked into Costa Auto at two-fifteen on a Tuesday afternoon wearing a fitted white t-shirt, dark jeans, and a pair of aviators pushed up into his hair, and he looked like he'd never set foot in a repair shop in his life and knew it. He took three steps in, glanced up at the lifts, took in the trophy case on the wall covered in Sal Costa's old racing photographs, and then turned to Dani with a grin that belonged on a magazine cover.

I sat at the stool while he started to cook. I realised he had an Italian accent. "May I know your last name?" I asked him. "Sure love. It's Romano." he said. "Oh so you are an Italian?" "Yes love. What's yours?" he asked. "It Bella Rose knight." I said as I gave him my full name. "Bella Rose knight. Nice. Well my full name is Xavier Elijah Romano." he said as he smiled at me. "That's a very nice name." I said to him. "Thank you love." he said to me while smiling. In a few minutes he was done cooking as we started to eat.
