He cleared his throat nervously. “So… what romantic name would you like to be called by your partner?” I blinked, caught off guard by the question. “I don’t know. I’ve never really thought about it.” He nodded, adjusting his glasses— a nervous habit, I realized. “Well, I’ve been brainstorming some ideas. “Maybe darling? Or sweetheart? Or pookie? Or buttercup?” Or something unique, like… ‘starshine’?”

Now they had been blessed with both. “Well, you know I wanted a girl, and I have been thinking. Anastasiya, it means resurrection. And it is the name of an infamous Russian princess. She is my printsessa, so I think it’s apt.” He says in a matter-of-fact tone, causing her heart to swell. He had really thought this through. Dimitri looked towards her, “What about you, my love?” She had thought about it as well, in case she was carrying a boy. She fell in love with the name and the meaning. “Ayden. It is the Celtic name for fire and reminds me of my vow to you.”

He behaved like a child for a while before kissing me deeply. “What do we name them?” He asked, as his warmth spread through my neck. “Let's name them little Roman and Anabelle. Having our name gives us more unity together, that's the greatest journey of us.” I replied, placing it with his palms. “That's perfect,” he whispered.
