RONAN’S POV Wren was sitting at the vanity when I came back into the room. She is working through her hair with a wide tooth comb and losing the battle with a knot somewhere near the ends. I watched her for a moment from the doorway. She hadn’t heard me come in or if she had, she was ignoring it with the focused energy of someone engaged in a private war. Her auburn hair fell past her shoulders in loose waves, catching the morning light coming through the curtains. I have always loved her hair. Deep red and brown and threads of something almost copper, depending on how the light moved.

It was long and sleek black which was something he actually admired— long hair, just like Arya. Then he froze when her face caught the light.

My body did a 360-degree turn to see the person that I have been waiting to see. My heart raced with just the sight of her. Her long hair was tied in a braid, there were streaks of white hair that blended well against her brown hair. I remember the color of her hair in my dream, so it was true, she now has white silvery strands of hair. “What happened to her hair?” I asked Leon. The stylist nodded and resumed her work on Hermione's now honey-blond hair. She had applied a little dye to make it more presentable.

“For the record honey, you would be beautiful even without hair. You should have seen Luca when Ryder accidentally singed his hair off when he first learned to breath fire. The whole kingdom nicknamed him Dobby because he looked like that little thing from Harry Potter.” That made me laugh out loud. This woman is something else. Willow nudged her in the shoulder. “Mother! Don’t let Luca hear you. You know he is still affected by that mishap today. "Is it?" Ronan just snorted, half-amused and half-exhausted. He led me toward the bed, instructing me to lie down while he discarded his shirt. As I settled back against the pillows, Ronan's hand reached out to caress the top of my head, his fingers gently combing through the strands of my hair. "Your hair is long and jet black, isn't it?" Err, why is he suddenly stating the obvious? "Why am I just now noticing exactly how dark your hair is tonight?" he murmured.
