Third Master Yates announced that iff Harvey failed to appear before midnight, Rosalie would be their toy. It wasn’t long until midnight struck. Both of them had begun to do warm-up exercises. The sight made Rosalie turn pale, to the point she almost fainted. She knew what awaited her next. Facing these boxing champions, she couldn’t even die, let alone resist them. At this moment, despair colored Rosalie’s complexion. The clock ticked on. Soon, midnight came. Third Master Yates appeared at the door and studied Rosalie with a careful eye. He smiled and said, “It’s a pity. I initially thought you’re quite important to Harvey, and that he would come to save you.”

Anger filled her veins as she watched Leslie spill wine all over her sister; more anger surged when she noticed the camera zooming in on Rory’s chest. Rosalie stood up angrily. “That fucking bitch! What on—”

Her voice threatened to fail her. “What?” Rosalie looked up at the sky with a weak smile. If there was a higher being, she believed he/she wouldn’t let this be their end. “We’ll meet again Hakeem.” She caressed his face softly “Hakeem, my love for you is so much stronger than death. I_” Her voice broke again and she suddenly couldn’t speak well. “Stop talking.” Hakeem cried, clinging unto her. “Promise me, Hakeem.” She wheezed, coughing blood. “Promise me we’ll meet again.”

Madam Rosalie had come across the news about Hayley online shortly after returning to the City.
