Flameheart pivoted, raising his blade to meet their assault, slicing through the air as they swooped down, their claws poised to tear him apart. In the midst of the chaos, he spotted Ambrosia summoning dark tendrils from the ground, attempting to ensnare him. The shadows twisted and writhed, reaching out like grasping hands. Flameheart felt the pull of despair clawing at his heart, but he stood firm, his resolve hardening.

I could feel her inner muscles tightening around me and I knew it wouldn’t be long. As the sun rose over the trees the love of my life burst into pale blue flames. Magical power surged around the kingdom. I heard an explosion but wasn’t about to take my eyes off my mate. I held onto her hips as my own climax poured inside of her coating her quivering walls. As the flames receded back into her body Rain stood shifting back to normal and turned around in my arms. I almost expected her anger. I was pleasantly surprised by the huge smile on her face. Her eyes were glowing as I wrapped my arms around my woman and picked her up.

Alexandria POV: When Wyatt crashed into the room, I was nervous but excited. May was just howling in my head, she was so happy. I didn't understand how or why I was going to get a second chance mate. This was unheard of. Once you rejected your mate, that was it. There wasn't supposed to be any second chances.

Tears filled her eyes as she whispered against his chest, “Then burn it down. Burn the book. Please.” But when he reached for the pages, the blood hissed back like flames resisting him. The book laughed—a sharp, broken sound akin to paper tearing apart: “You can’t burn her story, fox; you can only read it…and reading means obeying.” Camela’s scream caught in her throat as she muttered, “It spoke…” Vincent bared his teeth in defiance as his fire flared even higher. “Then I’ll silence it,” he said fiercely. He slammed his hand down, his fire blazing but the pages didn’t burn. Instead, they bled harder and thicker, flooding the floor until it reached their ankles.

“You burned like fire. You showed them who you truly are.” I leaned back into him, exhaling slowly, letting the tension accumulated from the day's events release. “I didn’t know I could,” I confessed, the words soft, almost a whisper. The strength I had shown, the defiance I had channeled, felt both exhilarating and terrifyingly new. “That’s the thing about fire,” Ryder said, settling gracefully beside me on the low stone ledge that bordered the rooftop, his gaze fixed on the endless sky. “It doesn’t know how bright it burns until someone tries to put it out. Until it’s forced to fight for its very existence.”

When midnight approached, the Alpha of the rogues had a big fire made, and in it burned several herbs. With open arms, she begins to speak in a language that no one understands. The flames grow higher and higher and burn black and red as she, screaming louder and louder, casts the spell. With a roar that made the rogues whimper in fear, the flames break away from the fire and fly straight at the Red River Pack, covering the entire sky, and falling on the pack.

She wasn't looking at me anymore though, now she was only looking at her book as if she was reading anything, the stupid book was upside down! "Hey, hey...eyes on me Rosie, look at me." I would have commented on the 'Rosie' part, but I was still shaken up. He turned my face down to look at him. "Tell me what's going on." I nodded, breathing in to calm down. Then I lowered my voice considerably and then begun to tell him the summarized and watered down version of everything. But even then, with each word out of my mouth, his eyes darkened, getting angry, but there was also concern there.

Rose stood on the rooftop of a building across from the Grand Plaza Hotel, her face lit by the orange glow of flames. The night air carried smoke and screams to her ears, a symphony of destruction that made her heart race. She laughed, the sound bursting from her throat in waves, wild and uncontrolled. "Look at it burn," she whispered, then laughed again, louder this time. "Look at it all burn!"

“Riya Wolfsong must surrender herself by the full moon... or we burn River Heart to the ground.” He dropped a black rose on the floor and vanished in a gust of cold wind. I stared at the rose, its petals already wilting. War was coming. And it had my name written in fire.

Ruslan cried out as he kept glancing at the fire. "Shit the fuck up and sit down. Don't acting like a baby. You are distracting me." I told him angrily. "The fire is fast approaching." He panicked. "I am doing my best." I was also afraid but I let my confidence lead. Then the fire reached us and....... * How do you like this chapter? Please vote and comment!!!!
